LGBTQ movements succeed because white people have started to be personally affected by them. They know someone who is LGBTQ, care about them, so they are sympathetic to their issues. That is it. That is all.

This game. Man, that’s some good memories. No game makes me hate and love it simultaneously as much as Saga Frontier. So effing weird and opaque. I was using a strategy guide, and the game was still full of mystery. For all it’s faults, there’s nothing else like it.
Cult classic. From one of the golden ages of JRPGs. Definitely a divisive game, though. I’d say more than any other Saga game except perhaps Unlimited Saga.
“Mmm... fudge...”
Maybe we can finally toss that “What the founding father intended” shite. I don’t give two shits what the founding fathers intended. I live in 2020 and I want my nieces to have healthcare and not be ruled by fascists and religious nuts for their entire lives.
I needed this headline in my life right now. I don’t know why I laughed so hard, but thank you for giving me a very much needed laugh.
Good. Stop talking.
Yeah, Sony is weird. They are really aggressive about making things as cheap looking and clunky as possible. They could work more closely with Marvel and make some decent films even with their B-tier Spidey-verse characters, but nope: Dark, cheesy, stories with dark, cheesy, cinematography. Morbius looks horrible, and …
There were very vague and loose gestures toward emotional catharsis towards the end, and they weren’t particularly effective. I wish they had been, because I’d like to love this movie. Instead, I’m just “Well... that was neat!”
Here’s a comic that does that pretty well.
I demand everyone in these comments and the writer go out together and get drunk as soon as possible. Obviously it’s worth the risk, because the stress is causing all of us to ask stupid questions and then answer them in total earnestness.
I think the fact Lucy Lawless was a grown woman who presented as such had a lot to do with the quality of the show. She exudes strength in a way no show featuring a teenage protagonist would even allow, let alone have a young actress who could pull it off..
Yeah that’s a great video. Wish more people would see it.
From the headline I was hoping for warrior queen KMT fighting a wendigo or something. I am disappointed. But I’m glad to see her. She has been done a great disservice by the Industry on multiple fronts. She deserves better opportunities.
What’s your point? Someone wrote one article saying one thing. Someone else wrote another article reviewing a film. Even if the reviewer DID go to a theater (they didn’t, and it’s weird that you ignore that), so what? They changed their mind. They wore a hazmat suit. They drank a lot of orange juice and think…
To be honest, this article could be titled “Sentient Asteroid Headed For Earth, Promises To Make it Quick”, and it would probably be better than the alternative.
In her defense, she was created and developed by one of the worst writers of X-comics history, Scott Lobdell. If you wantEd needlessly convoluted tryhard melodrama in the 90’s, Scott Lobdell was your man. Along with Fabian Nicieza, he drove the X-men line right up it’s own butt for nearly a decade.
Weird how that storyline made people forget the decades of stories where good guys became or pretend to be bad guys for several issues. Almost as if they never read comics before.
Depends on what you mean. Do “hardcore fans” typically misinterpret thoroughly explained major elements of a single film while over-analyzing the most minute aspects of a middling television show?
This could be the best and longest running animated saga ever, easily. Or Amazon could get bored and cancel it. I’m not optimistic.
