You live a sweet and eternally blessed life.

You know what I’d like to do?

Hi. Buzz Killington here. Can I be “That Guy” for a minute and point out that this highlights how cheap and exploitative reality TV is? Taking real people, putting them in fake situations, and sculpting a narrative around them that may or may not be representative of who they really are is kind of creepy. Also, these

Thus the ultimate problem with capitalism (or, exceptionally generously, how we do capitalism): there is no inclination toward sustained success. It’s never, ever enough to just do well. There must always be massive, rapid gains. Tomorrow be damned.

What’s truly sad is anyone over 25 not knowing this.

Never. Never is when there will be a reckoning. We’re at the mercy of the masses, and they are completely oblivious. For many reasons, but oblivious nonetheless.

G****mnit. Does this shit ever end?

Watching it again recently, there’s a lot of blame to go around. The script was really good at stealing agency from Han Solo and making him the most boring character onscreen. They really went in the wrong direction tonally from conception to screen, and left the actors floundering in the lurch.
