I’d like to talk to Jeff about backing up off Tessa Thompson and making me feel less jealous.
I remember liking “Soldier” as a kid and even back then realizing Kurt Russell was carrying that entire dumpster on his back.
You are the best nerd. In 2020, nerds are all about minimal suspension of disbelief. Don’t let anyone steal your sunshine.
Goes without saying, but it’s when “Other” poor people getting needles or any kind of assistance for free. Trump voters will literally talk about how their daughter has been in and out of school and on and off food stamps and in and out of rehab and within seconds go on a rant about “personal responsibility”. Am I…
It’s the year 2020 and you still think the word COMMUNIST means a fucking thing to anyone, especially in the face of multiple epidemics? Probably not smart.
Moderate voters should be alienated. They’re awful and should be shot into the sun.
He didn’t position himself anywhere. His politics put him there. When the establishment has repeatedly shown itself to be in direct opposition to your most firmly held beliefs, you are outside of that establishment. Hiding that would be disengenuous at best, and it would be used against him anyway. It’s not a game or…
I had actually forgotten. My brief research has determined that I got Dick Whiskey from the comedy stylings of Seanbaby Riley. The name stuck with me and I started using it among friends as a synonym for, indeed, Jack Shit. So yes, my usage of it is extremely local to a group of about five people.
Thank you. It’s like liberals believe Fox News hyperbole more than actual Fox News fans.
Perspective. I see him having a great deal of conversations with journalists and interviewers in very polite and friendly terms. He defends his positions in almost irritatingly consistent ways, in very simple terms.
I would put forth that he gestures more, and speaks louder when excited, and he is tired of being asked…
Seems reasonable right? Try to make changes, put new ideas into the public consciousness, start actual conversations to combat fear mongering, and maybe change the narrative. The effort is the point.
The math is crunched super hard when it comes to helping people. But the military industrial complex is all about that amorphous freedom and democracy which has no hard numbers.
Whenever gun control of any sort is mentioned, it’s always the slipperiest of slippy slopes into a dystopian future of subjugation and murder squads. First Obama was going to take all the guns. Never happened. Then Hillary was going to do it, and I’m fairly sure that shit wasn’t going to happen either in the parallel…
What “attitude” should Bernie Sanders have, and how should he present it? Legit question, because I hear that often and am curious.
I can boo someone and then vote for my best interests regardless of my preferences. I have confidence that people can hold two thoughts at once, just like me.
I almost agree, but consider the resources that could be used on something else. It’s one thing to make a bad movie. It’s another thing to make a huge bad movie when the talent and money involved could have been used elsewhere.
I get what you’re saying and largely agree, in spirit. It’s important to be aware of what’s happening in the world, locally and globally, to contextualize events relevant to your own life, and to take actions in an informed and hopefully strategic way. I find that to be fairly self-evident.
