It has something to do with them being charismatic, if if you don’t agree with their politics. I hated all of Pierre’s policies, but couldn’t deny the man had charisma. Justin (so far) seems to be less radical than his father.

There’s a documentary on Netflix called Extraterrestrial, which has scientists speculating about life on other planets. There’s only 2 episodes, but the first one is about a planet in tidal lock orbiting a red dwarf, which sounds an awful lot like Prox B. It’s really worth a watch.
