While it does star a cis man, it has hired more trans people than any other show, so that means a lot to me. Very few other shows have multiple trans people played by trans actors, including some trans teen actors.

I think her age is more important than gender. Not that teenagers are completely off the hook for anything but there’s a reason why for example people frown on diagnosing ppl under 18 with certain personality disorders. Because every teen basically displays impulsive, sociopathic behavior sometimes.
