Because it’s just a reminder that you could have had a V8. Interestingly enough the 4 cylinder options were nearly always better than the V6s.

I have no idea what the American side of Daimler-Benz were thinking at all in the last 3/4 years of the merger, and the 6-cylinders alone were the #1 WTF thing for them.

Super pedantic, but the 2.7 made 200hp, and was never the base engine in the Challenger (that used the 250hp 3.5).

Still not really a Mercedes chassis. Not sure how this myth sticks around.

I think you’re forgetting that the Maverick is not BOF. So the Maverick should be light years better on the road in terms of “drivability”.

Aren’t the doors removable? Take two of the doors off of a four-door model, and you have a two-door model. It’s simple math. This isn’t hard.

I wonder how many people go to Copart every day and leave disappointed that it’s not a place to share their fan art of police officers.

“Do I really need an open-Bed pickup truck, or would I be better off in an SUV.”

Bring back the BRAT!

I hope Subaru is watching closely so we can get a Baja revival.

Never should have taken orders for Mavericks. Everyone knows Mavericks take orders from no one.

well, I know you saw one in the ad, but the one we had at that price sold earlier today. If you are interested, I have an F150 here that will do all the same stuff as that Maverick - if we could get you close to that monthly payment you mentioned would you be willing to sign today?

The widebody really made it for me, it was a little too slab-slided without the flares. With them it looks great.

First thing I noticed. Maybe they just assumed everyone was going to buy aftermarket tube flares for it anyway so instead of going through the effort of designing something Ford just wet to home depot and bought garden edging.

Thought it looked pretty sick on the need for speed movie Mustang.

...why not two more cameras?

Eh, the EU is where it’s at with those pieces of tech, though they tend to be reserved for higher level trims. You’re probably not going to find stuff like that on a Mahindra or something Chinese Domestic Market any time soon though.

Yay, prioritizing crash safety over being able to see so that you can avoid crashes in the first place

Cameras instead of side and rear view mirrors all shown in front of a driver on a heads up type of display. Coupled with blind spot detection, this would allow you to keep your focus in front of you. The reduced size of the cameras would also allow for better aerodynamics.

With all the whining I read about them, I figured automakers would only be offering diesel manual wagons by now.
