Found the Jeep cult

If that’s accurate, I’m 7 ft. 8.

I took my car through a touchless car once. Turns out that because they don’t use brushes they actually use much more aggressive chemicals. Turned all of my glossy black trim and mirrors a flat black. Took the finish right off. I’ll never use one again.

They’re getting rarer and rarer. It’s very frustrating. Sometimes I just want to run through and clean off, not spend an hour or two washing my car in my driveway.

Again, this is only if I ever use said car washes. I regularly hand wash my vehicles. But if I have to use one, I go to a touchless.

Is “car wash” a euphemism? Because if it is, I totally agree.

Just note that touchless usually uses rather strong chemicals to kinda clean, which may strip the wax/sealant on the car.

Same. I go through the touchless one in the winter for the undercarriage wash, but that’s all.

I’ve actually preferred it the other way around. The touchless washes always seem to get my car about half-assed clean. Even with my roof rack and a lightbar mounted to it on my hatchback, and with the employees warning me every time I went through, I still preferred the brushed wash. It just came out cleaner.

Yup... this.   Sometimes they do a crappy job, but at least they’re not hurting things as much.

Came here to say that. No car I own will ever go through a car wash with brushes. Thankfully there’s a decent touchless wash about 3 minutes from my house, but I only ever go there in the winter.

I always root for ketchup. He never does ...

We meet again, archaeococoa!

...deliver the Ford+ plan.

“A lack of preparation on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.”

Best thing to do is mix it one, five, two with water and sugar. Throw in some yeast, common bread yeast will do, put it in a tub or bottle with an airlock, and leave it for six months. Then consume your “honey” as you want.

I like to think that now the donor 2015 Camaro is out there rocking the 272,000-mile 1.6-liter G16 four that made only 97 HP.
