Putting health and politics aside, can’t we just appreciate that there’s now another major race coming to the states? I’ve always wanted to go to an F1 race, and now there are two opportunities in the future. I felt this same way when Chicagoland Speedway came in to the Nascar scene a while back. Was it the coolest

Small Michigan town Big Rapids Ford dealer offered a chainsaw to anyone who bought a truck. Very fitting for the area

That’s a huge factor for sure. And an unfair one IMO. If you told me the JS platform had quality issues, I’d agree wholeheartedly. But they put so much effort in to making the UF platform better. But it’s hard to convince consumers otherwise.

I see mine in 8th gear on highway drives; hardly 9th. IIRC, that ZF transmission was fairly new in 2015...maybe a few years before that. It seemed to be an issue in any vehicle it was equipped in back then. Newer models with the ZF don’t seem to have that issue.

The previous platform definitely left a bad taste in consumers’ mouths about the 200. The JS platform the Sebring/200 & Avenger rode on was older than dirt, and definitely underwhelming

The transmission definitely adapts to the driver’s style. Which is why so many folks complain about renting a 200.

The Tigershark engine was definitely anemic, but it was the cheaper & economical option between the two. I doubt anyone opting for the 4cylinder was looking for performance. EPA claims were at 36MPG and I still see that number when driving my 200 Limited on road trips.

I’m literally going to copy/paste my answer for “the most underrated car” QOTD because these kind of go hand in hand.

I love the Marauder, but they sold 11k because they only made 11k. It was suppose to be a limited run.

I am still perusing the car sales websites for a low mileage ecoboost Flex. When my sister was in the market for a 3 row SUV, I recommended the Flex for the cavernous room, low entry egress, and decent price.

It was an inch shorter than a Tahoe, and an inch longer wheelbase!

I’ll use a laser wash in a pinch, sometimes, I’ll need the majority of the crap blown off my van. Then I’ll go over it with a hand wash. I don’t have a power washer, or even a hose (damn rental house doesn’t have a water spigot), so I make due with my resources.

Curious what the seller would ask for if the project was completely finished...$40k? $50k? $60k?

I’d argue that your points are exactly why the car is underrated. In a world where vehicles keep getting bigger, the 200 maintained proper midsized dimensions. If people want more room in a sedan, FCA had the Charger and 300 for that. For my application: single, college student, travels from Chicago to Michigan

The Dodge Journey was built on an aged platform that’s almost as old as the LX platform the Charger/Challenger/300 is built. The 2015-2017 Chrysler 200 was built on an entirely new platform from its Sebring/200/Avenger predecessor. So your take is inaccurate. And since you can’t seem to name a specific reason why the

Exactly. Little details like the spot lights made all the difference. Tons of center console storage. This wasn’t a parts shelf project thrown together by FCA. They spend almost $2billion to retool the assembly plant for this model. I won’t go in to the amount of over engineering this car got in the assembly process

You have a point with your Fusion, but I can’t put the oil burning blame on the vehicle per say (all Tigershark engines experience this issue). And I absolutely agree that this is what the Sebring should have been. That era of the Sebring/Avenger was awful. Had they come to the game with this at first, I think it

Living in Detroit, a trip to Windsor was frequent. Went out to Windsor for a date night with the gf at the time. Upon heading back, the Border Agent asks us what our business was in Canada. Told him we went out for dinner. He then asks us if we’re bringing anything back to the states he should know about. I jokingly
