Most games don't naturally let you choose which display (some do, but vast majority don't). In switching screens via Big Picture, I find the majority of games are basically unplayable due to graphical or screen issues.

Can they at least fix Big Picture? It's a horrible pain in the ass if you have a multi-monitor set up, which when trying to play games on the TV is probably likely that the TV is a second monitor.
I'm not convinced that GTAV will make it to the new consoles.
That'd fit then. I mean it's easy to assume that Microsoft paid for the better promotion, or even as a marketing trade-off which I know often happens, but my best two guesses would've been either that the Xbox One has a higher profit margin (thus benefiting Toys R Us) or that the Xbox One isn't meeting initial…
I didn't believe it either, but the article was a guest editorial without a source.
Exactly. And if you can't buy both, so what. Buy what you want or what'll be more compatible with the people you game with, and have at it.
Clearly you watch National Geographic as well.
What people are overlooking is that if PS4 is significantly more popular than the Xbox One in pre-orders, it's in Toys R Us's interest to boost up the Xbox One.
It's not always a direct payment though.
Or sales/promos, and they do have some decent ones from time to time. Whether it's gift cards with a console or sales on games or Xbox Live, I've found some good deals there.
Wouldn't it matter more which one has the better profit margin, which is not necessarily higher with a higher retail price?
I got my N64 there in November 1996, and my DS there in 2007. With the former I was 15 and still bought most things at Toys R Us (and here in Canada we had no Best Buy yet, Future Shop was horrible, and online shopping wasn't really far along yet).
One day, Netflix will take over everything and viewing habits will become so staggered that people won't be able to live-tweet quality TV en masse.
Lucky guy.
No, but the clip and reference to the Tonight Show appearance is what made the rounds. I don't watch any of the late night talk shows but still see enough of their clips that get circulated around online.
Make fun of annoying customers after the fact or whatever, that's fine. Go home and vent to your family or whatever. We'd all do it. But in front of other customers and on camera? That's just dumb.
"He was ignoring me?"
Wow.
When I got a new monitor a few months back I was amazed at how many 27" monitors there were that were just 1080, and to go higher usually mean a price difference of 2-3x higher.
Except it's just one game. There will be more. It made nearly a billion dollars in a day. If they keep with the multi-lead structure, I'd be amazed to not see a female lead in the next one.
To be fair that table tennis game was basically a demo for the engine that was used in GTAIV. It was essentially a test drive that they figured they could make a game out of.
