I suspect you’re right on this.

The show at least seems to be referencing Agamemnon pretty hard, of course it is late in the game and Winterfell’s walls aren’t exactly like those of Troy - it’s still an apt direction for Stannis that didn’t really seem out of line with the character in the books. It was more surprising to me that Selyse had a late

And Transformers.

Well, that was horrific.

How about decidedly not? Matrix took a huge gamble of completely losing half its audience the moment Neo woke up in the real world. It had been shaping up to be some weird conspiracy story up to that point and was then catapulted into the dystopian realm of hard science fiction. Despite the significant failings of the

Honestly, this pretty much seems like Superman Blue/Red all over again. I wasn’t on board in ‘98 and I'm not now.

Definitely, though it is hard for me to tell whether she has been legitimately using Stannis, trying to force fit him to match the prophecy, or simply trying to find the best match that comes her way. The fires certainly grant her some foreknowledge, but it seems like there’s more to her that’s right on the cusp of

And as great as it is that the White Walkers are getting a larger role in the show, this is the land of Ice and Fire were talking about. The Night King raises the dead in ice and the red priests do the same through fire. Neither is good and that's the contrast the show is missing out on.

Well said - thank you for your perspective.

Refunds are fine, but it seems like overkill with a 2 week, 2 hour window. They should let people trade games for free - each license can be traded only once or twice and both parties have to agree to the trade. Kind of like Swaptree years ago.

Section 215 now—at least temporarily—reverts to its pre-Patriot Act form, which doesn’t permit any collection of financial or communications records, and requires the Government to provide “specific and articulable facts” supporting a reason to believe that the target is an agent of a foreign power.

It always seemed to me that Zeus was the natural candidate for WW’s villain. Ares is a big deal occasionally, but Zeus just hits every mark:

This kind of scares the hell out of me that if DC doesn’t kill the shows outright (because they don’t want 2 Flashes running around, etc.), they’ll just starve them of content.

Now playing

Hah, ok. Here’s a little more perspective for you on the history of the character:

I really can’t believe this list doesn’t include Simon Bisley.

I’m perfectly willing to forgive some clichéd tropes if that’s what gets the show picked up and on the air. They can up the ante for us and hopefully bring the mainstream audience along for the ride over the next few seasons.

And his vulnerability with Vanessa (who, for my money, might be the most unique creation of the Daredevil TV series — a supervillain’s love interest who genuinely sees him a hero? I can’t think of another) gave him a depth most on-screen bad guys can’t match.

Seemed to me as though the singularity reopened because of the paradox - it was trying to correct Thawne’s death by wiping out the timeline. Presumably Flash beats it back and the paradox is allowed to continue in season 2!

I have to confess I’m one of the apparent few who like Laurel, but this past season had several issues in my book. I didn’t think the season was terrible, but it dragged and was too predictable (not something I could say of the first two seasons).
