Dracula: The Last Sanctuary

This is far, far beyond canon. If Talion is a wraith, he would be a thrall of Sauron's.

There's a reason why a certain Hasbro character is legally known as 'Autobot Jazz.' This case should be dismissed.

I agree - I stopped watching years ago, but recently started back up again and I'm very pleasantly surprised. They're clearly capable of more than they're given credit for, although I kind of wish they'd do another feature film.

Very interesting, thanks for looking into this.

We're getting closer and closer to Patton Oswalt's vision of the franchises all the time.

What you described is emulation by definition. For example, WiiU emulates the software of the Wii in a virtual machine to play games from the old discs (it even sports the old menu). The Playstation 2 and 3 similarly emulated the old PSX in order to run its games (PS2 even offered the ability to smooth out and sharpen

No, it would be. Because the the legacy software is not supported by the PS4 architecture - it would have to be emulated in order to run it.

And yet I still can't play those classic titles on current gen consoles without purchasing them again from the PSN. Wake me up when the PS4 can do this while it emulates off of my PSX, PS2, and PS3 discs.

Sigh. It isn't that surprising, admittedly; however - having run out of ideas - Disney seems content to buy everyone else's. Could it really be a good thing for a large swath of the pillars of geekdom to be monetized under the same corporate mouse?

I really regret having purchased the WiiU as soon as it came out. Don't get me wrong - I like Nintendo (that doesn't really factor into it), there just hasn't been anything worth playing for me.

I don't think there's any question: Tolkien would hate this. Bear in mind that he would also probably not have liked the movies (his estate clearly feels that way too)...so take it with a grain of salt, but this game appears to be more of a bastardization than an adaptation.

For me, Myst offered an absolutely amazing experience. It was open-world before open-world existed - you could pursue virtually any direction you desired and, if stuck on a problem, wander over somewhere else freely. There was never any threat of violence - all of the conflict was isolated to the mind. It was a unique

I hope it fixes the crashing - my WiiU crashes or times out during its first attempt at every update. I'm just lucky unplugging it hasn't bricked it yet....

Oh dangit, I'm afraid this explains it. My wife preordered it for me as a Christmas gift and I've been getting antsy about receiving it since I saw the game for sale in Target over the weekend.

I'm going to see Hobbit in HFR tonight. I'd rather form my own opinion on the new format than to be told what to think by professional critics.

I loved it and I'm going there and back again tonight.

My wife and I unboxed our deluxe WiiU last night and we're both pretty underwhelmed, particularly with the sluggish load times - even just transitioning within the main menu hangs long enough to be frustrating. Nothing can be done about the CPU at this point, but I hope a future update can make the software a bit more

I think most reviewers were too harsh on the RPG - I just finished it earlier in the week and had an absolute blast almost the whole way through. I'll grant that it has some mechanical issues and is more suited to those who have read the books, but it seems like sites like Kotaku went in expecting a game based
