"neo Nazi puppets"
Your explanation for the reasoning behind the invasion is absurdly naive and inaccurate. This has always been much larger than just Ukraine. Russia has invaded because their puppet was thrown out and they lost control of a critical neighbor, and they will go to great lengths to prevent that neighbor from allying with…
Yep. I was always told to utilize anything you can in your surroundings. Or if your friend is losing a fight, don't hesitate to sneak one one the guy.
If you're fighting fair, you ain't fighting to win.
The Tiny Tim was no joke. It was so heavy and powerful (500 lb. warhead) that it had to be mounted near the wing roots to prevent structural damage. It used a simple delayed ignition system to prevent it from both ripping off the wings it was mounted to and hitting the propeller it was mounted behind.
I could be wrong, but I don't think the US uses the Soyuz family for anything but service to the ISS.
Elon is a lot of things, but an eloquent speaker is not one of them.
To add to that, the SpaceX explosion was during a rocket test (when accidents are supposed to happen). The Russian rocket was a routine service launch, and it had a pricey satellite on top (when accidents are NOT supposed to happen).
There may not be anything illicit on the way in, but they are half empty so I'm guessing there will be something illicit in them at some point.
I'd rather speculate than ignore it and hope it works out for the best.
Those Russians wouldn't know what the olives or vermouth is for. They drink their vodka straight, and it's some rot-gut stuff. As in cheaper than the cheapest stuff you can buy here ( is it still McCormick? That's what it was when I was in undergrad).
I think the artillery is located on the Russian side, but they are firing across the border at positions within Ukraine.
SO makes sense. Fast in and out and good for soft targets. It just doesn't make sense for a typical patrol.
How often do Humvees or MRAPs carry an M134 instead of an M2? The M134 is impressive, but that's a lot of ammo to lug around (or run out of ) and the 7.62 limits the targets you can take out, and you run a higher risk of malfunction. I think I'd rather roll with a trusty 80 year old .50 cal.
I sadly admit that I went to prom in a Hummer limo one year. And an Excursion limo another year. My high school self had no grasp of understated style or subtlety.
Thank you for recognizing this.
Not sure why I'm bothering to respond, but yes the rebels were operating Buk systems. And the Su-25 can't fly high enough or carry weapons capable of shooting down an airliner flying at 33,000 feet.
Civilians dying while Israel engages Gaza is quite a bit different than (fewer) civilians dying while the US engages IS in Iraq.
By your reasoning, fighting the Nazi's was a futile exercise.
It's entirely impractical to refuse to engage an enemy because there is a chance that one child could die. Innocent children die every day under much more benign circumstances.
