Don't forget weird, young Boris Johnson lookalike in Cilla.

When Daveed smiles, I'm convinced for a second that I am in love. My god…
Maybe I was just in a sentimental state for the show this year, but I thought it was not me of the best in years. I think Corden's a perfect host—he knows and loves theater, and I find his energy infectious. The opening number was corny, but in all the best ways. That feeling of the theater being a home for oddballs…
I haven't sent her any abuse on social media, but I do think her letter reads as the words of a textbook rape apologist, and I don't see any problem with music promoters not wanting to be associated with her.
If she had stopped at defending her friend personally, that would be one thing, but she made some sweeping statements about campus rapists not being "real" rapists, and I'm glad to see such a strong response to that.
So much for the general understanding of what constitutes freedom of speech.
Well, his bit was cut from the last special (apparently about the Paris attacks), so here's hoping he's gone for good. I always thought he was a weird fit for that show, but I understand that he has a big British following.
The first season had such a beginning, middle, and end that I couldn't imagine a reason for a second season—even if Danny wasn't the only character I found interesting, the story just seemed done. So this review sounds like all my worst fears of the second season being an unnecessary sequel.
Yup, more than once. I remember being surprised that they called attention to it, frankly—most shows wouldn't.
I've been waiting since the first episode of this show for Kinnear to get a real showcase—they've been sitting on one of the best stage actors alive and not giving him much to do other than mope. I was so thrilled to see him and Eva Green work so beautifully together.
Two seconds of him looking sad in a cape is all it takes for me to get reallly, really excited to see this.
I WAS AN AUDIENCE OF ONE!
I used to have a huge, teenagerish crush on Lassie, and now I have a similar one on Richard. Omundson is just hot like fire.
I'm just in awe of him, and this interview captures everything that makes him so special. His performance in Animal Kingdom is permanently seared into my brain.
I so agree with this. When Will said "I can't say I'm surprised" about Chilton, with what seemed like a smile playing around his lips, I was genuinely unsettled by him for the first time. His behavior creeped me out more than anything with the Dragon. It was the first time I didn't feel like I could see a good guy…
I love LoG so, so much, and somehow Shearsmith and Pemberton's subsequent projects get better and better—Inside No 9 is among my favorite shows ever. Gatiss finally writing an episode for him is such a wonderful thing.
Have you listened to the commentaries for Series 2? They couldn't do them for the DVD, so they put them up on Soundcloud. They're amazing, and basically another episode of No 9 in themselves (listen to them in order)
Fun fact: The episode he's in will be Series 9, Episode 9, because Mark Gatiss is adorable.
I'm all involved in animal rescue on Instragram, and all I knew of The Fat Jew is that he and his partner have a well-known puppy mill rescue and do a lot for the cause. I didn't want to know he was an asshole. Stop being assholes, people I want to like!
Thank you for this—I just started watching Babylon tonight on your recommendation.
