Crazy Frog’s “Axel F”

Ah, got it. I didn’t consider that.

People that divorce don’t necessarily stay divorced; they frequently remarry. They’d then show up in the married column again.

Axis not labeled, results invalid.

What’s its volume?

“Stop running over my child!”

Wait until it is out before you assume the worst.

Nah, that fellow’s being a prick for the “art” of it. Let’s give ‘em a hug, they seem to sorely need it.

These are legit NASA posters?

Come, I’m hiring a ship to ferry all io9 commenters to the Undying Lands where we will live forever, sharing snarky responses and trading GIFs.

People live in/near forests because that’s where their jobs are. Mining, oil, forestry. Lots of jobs in lots of places way too far away from the cities to commute.

I appreciate the idea behind your argument. We should respect the environment in which we settle, but it’s perhaps not realistic to ask Canadians to not settle near forest.

Massive wildfires aren’t exclusive to forested areas, how about California brush fires? They’re massive, fast, and can destroy towns just as quickly. Not to mention the more dry it gets down here, the more dangerous they get.
And try living anywhere in the Pacific Northwest away from a forest, it’s just not possible.

“megafires” that cover hundreds of thousands of acres, move at hypersonic speeds

I love this site, Rob. It is my favorite site on the Internet and I visit almost daily.

I don’t comment often but I want you to know that your articles about the writing process are what originally brought me here. Every single one was insightful in a way that made me feel better equipped to tell the stories I want to tell.

In all seriousness, I had that sneaking suspicion that this is where this was heading when I saw who the author was and the topic of the rant. And as I started reading, I already had in my mind that I wanted to add a comment pointing out how I thought that io9 is and has been the shining gem of the Gawker collection
