I had a lot of fun playing Broken Bond on the 360. Sadly the multiplayer design was a little flawed. The game had beautiful animated combos that made you feel like you were playing out scenes from the show- but in competitive play that meant the rhythm of your combos was predictable and easy to break out of with

Considering the amount of celebrities and A list talent they had involved at the show, I’m sure they need to put in a show of good faith towards future personalities they want to invite to be involved with their show.

If you don’t want to listen to guns talk to you, a game with talking guns probably isn’t for you. Just like I wouldn’t review a FIFA game, because I don’t like sports. I don’t think that would make a negative review of a FIFA game, authored by me, valid journalism in that case.

The irony here is that I think most players would happily shell out some money for a quality game, if it was packaged in a way that was less scummy. Id pay $50 to own a game. I’d even pay a small monthly fee for a game. But psychologically I can’t bring myself to pay even 10% of the same cost if I know that the game

I would be one of the most innovative men to ever live too, if I was born into enough riches to buy a ‘founder’ title from companies that already existed.

It occurs to me that most tangible goods become MORE valuable when they go out of print/production as they are rarer and harder to get ahold of.  The fact that these NFTs would lose value so immediately is very telling.

*”Why Not Both” meme*

Of the thousands of pages that internet denizens have written regarding NFTs, the best description of it I’ve seen boils down to two words: wealth obsession. There has never been a more transparent view of an individual’s or corporation’s lust for money and complete disregard for actually providing something valuable

I can’t speak on behalf of all people who are into crypto currency, but the whole NFT thing seemed, from my perspective, to be less about supporting artists and more about finding a way to persuade a large number of people into joining their crypto currency to drive the value of their investment up.

Gotta say- I don’t really care. I can’t predict whether this change will be for better or worse, but in the end I want the decisions made in the game design process to be made by game designers for the sake of all players, not to satisfy the entitlement of pro players.

Why not?

I’ll concede that the hype level was significantly lower than past years, but I thought it was still a pleasant event to tune into. I’ve got friends working on Overwatch 2 who’ve been desperate to share what they’ve been working on, and having a glimpse into the progress they’re making was cool to see.

I don’t have this particular affliction, but I think I can relate to it. When I see those common triggers, I do have some semblance of “hmm, that looks like a creepy cluster of biological pores” or something to that effect. They remind me of some nature documentary I saw about some sort of toad that births its young

Skipping the best level in the game.... I’ll never understand speed runners.  It’s like watching your favorite movie with fast-forward on for the sake of saying you watched it faster.

Trump: Body count in the hundreds of thousands, history of mocking the dead

I can relate. I had a twitter argument with someone who was mocking me for living in Seattle, as they firmly believed that it was an anarchistic hellhole. They even proclaimed that “90% of BLM supporters are rioters inciting violence”. I asked them to cite where they got that number, or admit they made it up (they did

It seems like once a month there’s one of these “they want artists to provide free labor!” stories circulating around, and largely I find that pretty sleazy.  But I only feel half way offended by this one- because artists do fan art character skins all the time.  I’m not sure that layering a “it could actually be in

As a working environment artist, I agree. It’s a bunch of non-artists complaining that anything outside the range of black-grey-brown can’t be dark or scary (which is wrong).  I highly doubt they apply the same belief to the movies they watch and get upset at any movie that isn’t in black and white.

A lot of League of Legends players have this “I can say what ever I want and it’s your obligation to mute me, cuck” attitude that gets tiresome very fast.

I wish he’d just stick to cheating on his wife and bringing camera crews into bathrooms.
