Because you don’t believe in the U.S. Constitution which guarantees due process and prohibits cruel and unusual punishment?

You don’t have sympathy for a man who was wrongfully imprisoned? That sounds like a you problem.

LAS response pisses me off. Sure, there is a bigger issue, but your job was to help someone within that system. It’s like a doctor botching a heart surgery saying, “the real issue here is McDonald’s”.

I thought i saw that and I literally felt my lunch move from my stomach to my bowels. Sickening.

This makes absolute sense and my heart aches for this man. Having said that, that's a fucking amazing picture.

White dude in Texas. Yep. Someone’s going to believe that “suicide pact” bullshit. Even though I’m betting he has absolutely no proof.

I fucking *hate* facebook. A guy once got mad at me, so he decided to search my family’s fb pages until he found a pic of me, then posted it along with a completely bullshit story he freaking made up to get other ppl mad at me, and *my address*. He told his friends to find me and harass me. I created a fake fb page

Just two days ago I reported an image because it showed a woman with a grisly gash clear across her face with big black stitches in it and the caption “This is what you get when you sleep with a married man and the wife gets to you.” I reported it for celebrating violence. Facebook “reviewed” it not 15 minutes later

Not wanting to take action until they determined the account was hacked is something I can get behind. However, seeing whereas this was a picture of a person with their throat cut open POSTED ON THEIR OWN PAGE I’m going to go out on a limb and assume they didn’t post the picture themselves and say that maybe it should

According to the New York Daily News article: “The social network initially declined to take the photo down because it believed the graphic image was posted as a call for help from the victim, not the killer.

I’ve heard a lot stories of this happening to women in particular. People can’t handle when a woman does something they deem inappropriate but a man posts a photo of a murder HE committed and crickets...

Facebook also offered Jennifer’s friends and family the option to “block” her if they didn’t like what she’d “posted”. The pictures were only taken down after Facebook ascertained that the account had been “hacked.” According to the New York Daily News article: “The social network initially declined to take the photo

So horrific and disgusting. I know a woman who used FB to run her fashion blog and sell bags and stuff, and who has thousands of followers. Her FB page was taken down one day out of the blue, and they gave her no explanation, wouldn’t tell her what the complaint was, nothing. It was done absolutely immediately with no

Fucking bullshit facebook. Get your shit together.

I feel that way about A LOT of pop songs, actually. Like, I love “Blurred Lines” - great beat for my running play list. But I can’t get a good tempo on my runs while I’m cringing at lines like “what rhymes with hug me?”

They need to do a lyric-less version of pop songs. Like Kidz Bop, but just remove the lyrics

Yeah. I am with $7Coffee and I tend to only use the word innocent with the connotation “free from guilt of crime.” More often than not, I observe the word being used to describe others, usually women, in infantilizing, condescending and patronizing ways.

It’s infantilizing. Optimistic and kind hearted are wonderful qualities in a person. “Innocent” implies she doesn’t understand the world around her and, in this case, relationships. Children are “innocent” in that sense of the word. Grown women are not.

“He liked how innocent Taylor was and that she had a good caring heart”
