“... the narrative framework of Return of the Obra Dinn.”

What a great prize, puberty.

Hold it, there’s an Android version?!?!

I’m not a Twitch user, so... what’s the problem with chat?

But their dinos don’t even have feathers! =p

Disclaimer: all opinion, and I’m not an expert.

This gave me a chuckle... followed by deep depression.

I shouted... at work.

Watch the trailer. You’re wrong about this. Be happy! =p

If you guys haven’t seen it yet, the game already has a page on Steam. War and Strife seem to be the only playable characters and the game apparently does feature co-op, including shared/split-screen local. You can also swap between the two, if playing single-player.

It matters more if screens keep growing. Like I said to the OP, it’s got more to do with about pixel density than nominal resolution. On my 24' monitor, 4k is slightly better, but on my 50' TV, it’s a pretty clear difference. On a wall sized screen (and I have no idea if such a thing would be affordable/desirable in

It’s more about pixel density than nominal resolution, so I can understand not seeing the difference on a smaller screen. I have a 50' 4k TV and can clearly notice the difference but, unless we start getting some really big screens, I’d imagine it will start to not matter as much.

Yay! An excuse to replay this effing awesome game!

Feudalism lasted for centuries in our world, and we didn’t even have an undead army threatening the complete annihilation of humankind to justify the rule of a martial-proficient class. If anything, I think it’s less realistic for monarchy to fall quickly in Westeros than in Europe.

Wow, it seems it’s happening every other day now. Is YouTube a douche magnet, or something? And wasn’t Holly Conrad RubberRoss’ wife?

It’s a money sink, not a wealth redistribution tool. Whenever you kill an enemy, it drops items which are directly convertible into caps. This, in turn, means that players essentially print money every time they kill anything.

I think it’s #1, actually. 1st paragraph states it would be theoretically impossible to compute, which implies computing power is not a limitation. A game with a too-large number of possible outcomes is still theoretically possible to solve.

Yeah, they didn’t eff things as bad as Fallout 76 at launch, but since then it’s been pretty underwhelming. Two months in and they:
- Fixed a lot of broken stuff

My personal experience with the HoTS player base is that it’s way less toxic than other games. You’ll find it, for sure, but it’ wasn’t enough to sour me on the game, as it did for DOTA.

I win Tokaido pretty consistently in my group, which implies there’s more than blind luck to it. I kinda feel like this game is much more centered around constantly scrambling to get the best value, instead of going for an optimal strategy, and also calculating value on the fly with a lot of unknown variables.
