If Bioware isn’t going full Bioware, someone has to, right?

Fallout 1 and 2 are very different from the modern entries in the series, as they are isometric tactic RPGs and non-combat skills play a way larger role in them. F1 is fun, if a bit shorter and flawed, F2 is one of the series’ greats. You don’t have to play them in order, but F2 does reference some events from F1.
It aged slightly better then Fallout 3, in my opinion, but not by a mile. If you play on PC, mods can help a lot, but the lack of punch in the shooting mechanics is probably unsolvable. I’d still recommend it, though.
Oh, the Nanking massacre is just the tip of the iceberg. Imperial Japan probably killed more people than the Nazis, in ways that are probably even more barbaric. Estimates point to at least 20 million people killed in China alone, and they also conquered Korea, the Phillippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia…
Jason The Delayer strikes again!
And give up the G-Sync monitor? Not to mention the input lag! You disgust me, you filthy casual.
You do know her boss (ABC Entertainment CEO Channing Dungey) is a black woman, right? If I came up to my Jewish boss saying Jews are greedy, dirty pigs, I’d also expect to lose my job.
Yeah, there were a lot of women, particularly on the Eastern Front.
Yeah, I also kept playing D&D 3.5/Pathfinder during the 4th edition. Check a PDF online for the 4e PHB if you’re curious; it draws heavily from wargames and, oddly, MMORPGs. There are roles like leaders (buff givers), healers, tanks, DPS and control (debuffers).
D&D 4th edition. You can technically play without a grid, but it’s pretty bad/a lot of work. I personally skipped it because of that.
It could help, sure. For me, I think the problem is Ubisoft-style open world fatigue. I’m pretty tired of games that ask you to perform the same tasks over and over again (scarecrows, balloons, etc.), even if the setting and story kept me playing to completion (of the story, I mean; I’ll never 100% it).
I’m assuming licensing could’ve been an issue. I also liked that game a lot, although the ending got a bit repetitive, gameplay-wise.
You can always do what I did: get a decent PC and join the wonderful world of indie stuff! There’s a lot of jankiness all around, but the games feel like there was care thrown in, and that’s more important for me. Also, strategy and simulation games mostly dodge all of the triple-A bullshit (mostly... never forget…
At this point, he could just rank the Cities Expansions. This is, what, the 6th?
True. What I’m ultimately trying to say, however, is that there’s space for both kinds of narrative. The intimate route may pack a heftier emotional gut punch, but the capacity to make you feel sad is not the only metric for a movie’s success.
I think Seita and Setsuko aren’t special because they weren’t made to be special. They are two among a million orphans in the same exact situation, and that’s the whole message, for me. The beginning of the movie even shows Seita among a number of other kids just like him on the train station.
The news is who won. That the finals (or any scheduled event, for that matter) happened is not news. If it really bothers you that much, don’t access Kotaku on finals weekend before watching the games. I don’t.
Hey Luke, maybe you should point out that this is a Kickstarter exclusive, not meant to hit retail? A lot of people (like me) would rather wait to see if the end product is good, but this project won’t allow that.
Ba-dum Tsss
I have no idea why, but it dips a lot on my GTX 960. My PC comfortably runs stuff like The Witcher 3 and it’s literally the only game I have that does this.
