They really did make it feel like it was taken straight out of FFXV. Awesome trailer, must have taken a lot of work to put together.

No that’s about what I was thinking.
That is a lot of conversations that I was not exactly on the other side of, but thanks! It sucks to hear that For Honor has not gotten better. I was going by my experience with games like Fire Emblem Heroes, FF Record Keeper, Street Fighter V, and maybe even Hearthstone. I think some companies do improve their…
I don’t know, sounds like most mobile games to me. (though this one is for a $60 game so...)
that’s pretty low right there. I’m sure the economy will shift over time, but it’s off to a pretty demanding start.
Reminds me of trying to buy characters in Street Fighter V without paying, although there’s other ways to earn fight money other than online matches. I wouldn’t be surprised if Battlefront added daily challenges or bonus exp weekends.
I think the top and bottom bezels help with docking an undocking. I’m less wary of scratches and less likely to get my thumbs all up in that screen.
Is it too early to take bets? I’ll be optimistic and say 3 years.
Hmm, I guess we’ll have to wait and see if it’s a fun mechanic or a tedious one. :)
I wasted SO much time in the menus of the first game. The second one seemed to replace gems with fashion options as far as what ate up a lot of my time. Based on the video, it doesn’t look like there’s gems or fashion items and the main customization comes from upgrading “blades.” So I think there’s your streamlining…
Ok $30 might be alright if the quests are substantial. Plus the bonus Zelda quest doesn’t hurt. Personally I’m just happy to see the Japanese dlc option.
Honestly I’m more turned off by her face than anything else. Why did they hire the Berserk anime team to work on this one character?
This sure would come in handy for a certain post-game boss rush that doesn’t offer any hearts whatsoever. Bowser would be great for those few coins I had to look up online as I had no idea where they could be.
You think it’s more likely that a publisher would spend a tiny bit of cash to hire someone or some group to influence the user review average on metacritic rather than one of potentially thousands of people that simply wanted the game they worked on to look more positive? I’m sorry but that seems ludicrous to me.
Ha, I was actually assuming my opinion of 1/3000 people that worked on this game being more likely than Ubisoft proper was the OPPOSITE of a conspiracy. It’s just a thought and this is clearly masterminded by someone. Possibly a lizard person.
Yeah, probably not an official Ubisoft request, but someone at the company could have done this. User reviews don’t affect compensation, but overall perception still helps drive sales.
Yeah I can’t imagine a big publisher advocating something like this. That sounds about right.
My guess is that with the huge number of people working on these games, a couple of them or possibly even their friends or family rolled up their sleeves and decided they’d play internet hero for a day.
I’m curious to know what relatively newer studios like Wit and Trigger pay their staff. Being founded by people that left prolific companies, they might be inclined to pay a little more if they could afford it.
I play the switch docked more than 90% of the time, though I work from home so I’m sure that’s part of it.
