I find the fact that anyone could present legitimate complaints or criticism on this video strange and confusing.

Putting it up against some of the biggest releases this year seems insane, but I guess it will show just how viable their game is? I mean, it worked for Titanfall 2 so...
Just delay it to late January. I’ve got enough on my plate with Mario and Xenoblade. Where’s Jason when you need him?
Episode 2 of Inuyashiki was brutal. I almost don’t want to keep watching, but I need to see eventual comeuppance!
So instead of Star Wars Uncharted, we’ll get Star Wars Overwatch/Destiny. I completely forgot that this was the game Amy Hennig was working on. What a complete waste of talent. EA mismanagement, you’ve done it again!
It feels very similar with the capturing and evolving teams of monsters. The main difference would be that the story is actually interesting and the battle system is way more nuanced than pokemon.
It’s really good. I think I ended up enjoying it more than FFXV overall. I don’t think I’d ever buy a system for just ONE game (please ignore Zelda this year) but if you like turn-based final fantasy games and chibi versions of those characters, it’s something to consider when you have the system.
You might enjoy World of Final Fantasy (if you haven’t played it already).
I have simply NOT beaten Mario World enough times, especially while taking a dump.
People complain about the lack of a virtual console, but these indies wouldn’t be doing nearly as well if we had one. Hopefully they’ll be able to keep up with the growing library down the road.
I remember a couple months ago Tom Happ echoed that sentiment. Now we see Axiom Verge has made it relatively soon after. Hopefully everyone (with good games) will get a shot eventually. :D
I came here assuming this was simply going to link to the documentary by Ahoy, but apparently it’s not! This is a great video that everyone should watch:
I don’t think you said anything wrong. :) Yes, it’s definitely held up!
It’s not my first time, but it’s been a while :D
Now that I’ve beaten Ys VIII, I’m going to work on my next snes classic game: LTTP. I might pick up Cuphead so that I can finish it before Mario in 2 weeks.
yeah, kinda
I think the tone was right for that flashback scene and I can appreciate it. The mouth flaps though, I’ve seen characters with that kind of facial structure animated better. There was very little lip syncing in the short so it’s surprising that they couldn’t take the time for that scene. Truth be told, I assume this…
Yeah my friend that was watching with me also pointed out liking that scene. It’s probably a matter of taste. I thought it was fine and it suited the mood well enough.
Oof, well that is certainly interesting. As an animator and a huge fan of animation, it’s really weird to have someone tell me to keep an open mind and try to appreciate different styles. I’ve been told my animations look like puppets or like “newgrounds/flash” games despite the fact that I really don’t like programs…
Yeah, I felt the same way too.
