They should just be coy about which side they’re on and hide their true choice until the end. That way people will pick what they like, but feel terrible when their girl of choice disagrees with them.

I’m pretty sure Marina was designed for western audiences and Pearl for Japanese. They’re great characters but instantly came off as focus tested to me.

Ultimately switching to Unreal 4 will be beneficial for Square as a company that used to spend way too much time working on engines. It sucks that they had to backpedal but it was the right call.
