I accidentally clipped out of bounds early in the game and thought “boy this is a pretty glaring issue, I have to assume they knew about it.” This article makes complete sense to me. :)

Yeah I really think it just needed to be up at all times to make a difference. They must have felt the same way once that Majora run started.
Exactly. They should have had 1 incentive per day to keep it on people’s minds. Maybe next time. :)
haha yeah all i knew is it’s something you can cheer with and assumed it was worth 1 cent a piece.
I think it’s good for people that already have bits and like cheering, but I had no idea the markup was so high. In the past, Twitch has given 100% of all profits from ads and such to the charity. I just assumed this was also the case. And if it was, they certainly should have made it clear. :/
I only saw the bit counter during breaks and never during actual runs. It wasn’t until the Majora run that I finally saw a counter directly below the dollar amount.
No it was only there during the breaks with a neat little animation of bit fireworks. It wasn’t until the Majora run where they said “we’ve...got a bit of a ways to go..” that they finally put it directly below the dollar amount. Trust me, I had this thing on all day every day. :)
It’s too bad they didn’t add that bit counter to the main layout until halfway through the Majora’s Mask run. Might have actually hit that blind Majora fight at 5 million if they did. Other than that, everything was great. :D

haha wow. I guess I’m not surprised. I AM pretty disappointed that Kenpachi got a bankai. It was always so badass that he didn’t need one.
It was nice to see her after that arc, but I always assumed she was so submissive because of her dedication or honor or something. It’s been a while. :)
A once prolific studio forced to make generic ecchi licensed stuff to get by. What a bummer. I can’t help but think that Gainax is next...
haha oh, I guess I kind of forgot that my original post was mostly a joke. WHUPS
First of all, I’m jealous that you’ve never met someone more wrong than me. Secondly I DID like the first arc and it IS a better story. However, Bleach was at its most hype during the SS arc. I generally avoid generic shounen battle shows now but it was something special at the time.
Well a chapter of Bleach can be read in about 2 minutes. It is a classic example of an artist that wants to draw full page action shots and just kind of threw a story around it.
Kubo himself said that he wasn’t a good writer and just made up excuses to draw fights. :)
Yeah it doesn’t really make any sense. The first arc certainly had a more grounded focus. It’s a better story, but it’s the crazy characters and fights of the SS arc that are synonymous with Bleach for me.
They did a good job introducing characters in the first arc, then pretty much ignored all of them except Ichigo. I would have liked Rukia to not be reduced to a damsel in distress though.
yes the first arc was good, but it’s not what I think about when I think about Bleach. :)
I stopped reading right when old fire leader guy died. The art in the manga was always cool to look at, but the stories never felt like they had weight enough for me to care.
