Agree, Disney no, Singer yes. For mutanty related material anyway

I think Singer has it on this one. The screenshot of QuickSilver from the new trailer doesnt look that goofy. And he is set in the 70's, rocking a floyd tshirt. Also using an ultra ultra bright setand filming in 3600 frps sounds like a technically great way to film superfast motion.
Has he a beard or is that just a trick of awesome refraction? for what its worth I liked the full Iceman scene from last stand, "and you should have stayed in school!"
I've never seen GI Joe, does anyone recommend an episode that would be a good primer for this show? Might help me appreciate it a bit more.
I haven't read the comics in a while, didn't Hellboy have hooves? or did the retcon that?
IMO he never gave up on the truth, to an absolute fault.

The only member of the Watchmen that steadfastly held onto his beliefs, namely the truth. Never wavered, even with the threat of his own inevitable death hanging over him.
As mentioned below, I love the visuals but the song doesn't fit. It does show the capacity for a really cool modern noir take on batman though... DC does seem to lend itself better to TV
Right!?! It is so stupid and annoying. I know people usually complain when they change the comments formatting here, but this change is particularly useless
I cant help but think the whole situation would have been avoided if Tyreese had of dealt with the situation when Lizzie took pity on the zombie on the train tracks. If he had of made her see they are not people and harshly made her watch him kill it. Maybe explain that they are much better off dead and its your duty…
Im totally on board with the Magic is Quantum Physics explanation. Fits into the MCU fairly nicely
I really like a healthy mix of science to fiction. 50/50 if not more. That's why I'm finding myself leaning towards speculative fiction more recently. Favorite example? a while back io9 linked to a not for profit Intel commission for writers to speculate how technology will be used in the future. A very quick very…
I really wanted DoFP to stay in the 60's and not move into the 70's. The style of First Class was really cool. The movies might be really well made, but the 70's and 80's sound to me like they might come across a bit goofy.
Partially explains why every movie review here contains the line "Spoilers ahead". To be fair at least io9 says it. Most media reviews now contain so many spoilers I can only read them after watching the movie. What happened to the skill set of reviewing a movie without spoiling it, it seems like a race to be the most…
lol, wot? I'm pleased about loads of stuff, just not this specific piece of casting news. Reel it in man
I think he looks a bit CW, like a skinny Johnny Storm in his mid 20's.
