As a lazy, out of shape, desk jockey Westener I have nothing but utmost respect for that young Indonesian underwater hunter.

I like diving and toyed with free diving but with the availability of oxygen tanks it just seems like it would make diving allot less fun and possibly physically damaging. Also I would only probably use it instead of snorkeling because I'd want to stay close enough to the surface anyway.
The only criticism comes from Slashfilm's Germain Lussier, who says it's awesome, but a "tad too long, a tad too plotty"
I understand the argument for an ending that reflects real life where not everything can be wrapped up nicely, but Marty and Rust are very capable detectives that spent alot of time and effort investigating an untouchable ritualistic pedophilic ring, instead we see them apprehending one white trash pyhsco living in…
A shameless free meowmeowbeen for every recommendation!
Why did they not bring two or three versions of the Night-Night gun in with them. They've already established that that plot device can look and act like a gun without killing two innocent shield guards.

I think the change in pace for episode 6 and 7 was expertly done. The younger philosophical, more capable Rust and younger happier more confident, capable Marty have been replaced by a couple of lonely unsuccessful older men who have just the business of their last unsolved case to solve
Rating: 2 Bambi's Moms. It's a spider, get over it.
why groan,I though that was a great ending...
I still dont understand how Zack Snyder got the reigns for the DC universe. As fair as I can see he has equal amounts of hits to misses, not a huge amount in either side.
IMO the thematic ending to that movie happened when Rorschachs journal fell through the door of the newspaper office.
Squid or not it explained the narrative and showed his determination to hold truth above all else, even his own life and the lives of millions of others. Ultimately the truth getting out invalidates all…
I dont like e-books and hate the trade paperback format books come out in initially (the size of the hard back editions). Its too large and unwieldy. I usually have to wait 6-9 months for the mass produced trade paperback to come out (like you buy in airports) Its crazy I know, I'm going to have to wean myself onto…
Urgh, the first movie had such an unexpected, tight, neat self contained timeline. Anything after that has progressively made it worse. T2 and T:tSSC were themselves very good, but they didn't help the timeline any.
He does have a point that if this movie had come out today instead of 5 years ago it would have been received very very differently. A much wider audience would understand what it is, a critique of super hero's and comics in general. It could have piggy backed off the release of the Avengers movie.
Ah yea, fair enough.. But the flash is meant to be fairly skinny anyway. I don't think lack of muscle should be too much of a problem.
Leather has to be the most impracticable material to run in, even if at super speeds. I preferred the 90's version, it was made from a prototype material designed to withstand pressure. It looked a bit like a dry wetsuit... cool.
Honestly I think we (comic book nerds) were very lucky with what we got. An R Rated, faithful, great looking, adaptation from difficult source material. The graphic novel ending was completely unadaptable. The squid would look silly onscreen(especially to people unfamiliar with the source material). The perceived…
I'm ok with that. Clark's third law "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
