I don't know, it looks like a bigger budget version of pitch black, but just that, another version of pitch black. I was even a little bored watching the trailer. I would have liked if they had of tried a new concept with this movie, the first one was very original.

Firstly, great great long shot scene, and a fantastic movie.... but I don't really like blood splatters on cameras. I kind of think it takes you out of the scene, but then I feel the same way about the shaky camera thing. It was used effectively in the Bourne movies, but after that I just keep wishing the camera man

Why are people wailing on X1, X2 and First Class? All those movies rocked, each in their own specific way. Brian Singer is at least showing Last Stand some small bit of respect (more than it deserves) and is hopefully dis-acknowledging any of Wolverine Origins, as I do.
I think he will try make the time travel someway

Brian Singer is keen to get the first bit of concrete confirmation of QuickSilver and Scarlet Witch out there. I’m not sure, did he announce their casting first or Josh? I don’t mind having 2 representations of the same character(s) out there, it was bound to happen. I just hope too many characters don’t start

Literally the only part of Iron Man 2 I can remember clearly is Sam Rockwell dance-shuffling up to the podium at an expo. Bring him back!

Great, I hope you do. I have a feeling he will be a much bigger name in soundtracks in the future (where I think alot of musical talent has gone).

I'm fairly late to this thread, not sure if its been posted yet, but I love Jon Hopkins soundtrack for Monsters. Its a soundtrack I listen to repeatatdy as an album. Im in work, so cant find a link to the second track, which is the best, Journey, but here is the lead track. Monsters Theme

Very true, good point. Damn my limited linear thinking :) I commend your grasp of temporal mechanics

I have been so disappointed this year with all the tent-pole movies, IM-3, ST-2, WWZ etc. I am banking a lot on this movie and Thor2 being awesome. Otherwise I will go back to my own 40' screen and smaller TV content rather than traipsing out to spend $20-$30 of my hard earned cash.

CBS said they’re not going to use the (terrible) ending from the book because they want a second season if it’s successful. There is only a 13 episode run planned for the moment, based on its success so far, I would think that will stretch into a second season.

Yea, I totally agree, except for Iron Man 2 and 3. They totally dropped the ball there. 2 was in keeping with Iron Man 1 just poorly executed, 3 though was a mess, so much wrong with it. Hope they keep a better reign on the remaining sequels.

Robert Redford in Captain America 2. YES! too... much... awesome... I loved the first movie, a very understated thoughtful superhero movie, and added a well fleshed out compassionate character to The Avengers. Hope they can keep it up for the sequel.

For what its worth, the only time travel device I think works is Novikov self-consistency principle. Your actions in the past are responsible for the future that is played out. Classic examples being Terminator 1, the time travelers wife, 12 Monkeys... etc.

I understand the technology you're talking about, but I just don't think it could be possibly be advanced enough to prevent me running back into the changing room crying while shouting "This is not an extra-medium" :P

Great post, was that the experiment in season one where they killed Kellog's grandmother. What did they expect, if the theory proved correct, they would have no recollection of Kellog or any of his involvement.

Yea, true enough, there is the jacket and all the rest... Also, just for lol's, a suit fitted for a 90 pound woman fitted a 130 pound man fairly well :)

I liked this episode, but I thought the premise was a little clunky. A space opera with a big enough following to justify a wedding theme has a character with a suit that matches Kiera's suit exactly. Thats bordering on a comedy trope, such as Inspector Space Time's nemesis looking exactly like Jeff in Community.

Looking forward to this, really liked JG.

Right, I got shot down alot there, excuse my cultural insensitivity, it was set in China not Japan, I just assumed she was a female samurai.

I love Michelle Yeoh in Crouching Tiger. Brought heart and depth to the role of a female samurai warrior. IMO her performance and that of Chow Yun-Fat was one of the reasons this because an unexpected international success.
