I love Michelle Yeoh in Crouching Tiger. Brought heart and depth to the role of a female samurai warrior. IMO her performance and that of Chow Yun-Fat was one of the reasons this because an unexpected international success.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. I think The Passage is fairly well setup for a 3 hour movie, with The Twelve and the third book being other movies in the trilogy. Considering the movie rights were auctioned off before publishing alot of studio's and the author would agree.

I would love to see a series of the book Transition. Briefly it involves an mercenary parallel universe jumping (our universe being one of the few universes not aware of parallel universes).

Jesus, I hope Joss Whedon gets no inspiration from Superman. Maybe some inspiration on how not to do it. If the first Avengers movie had of been anything like Superman, there would not be the market or studio inclination for this Superman movie.
