I'm so sorry, what a tool bag. Actually tool bags are useful so maybe that's not the best insult. I agree with Mimilady that you're an awesome friend for waiting until after the party and I hope that you don't have to be around him too often in the meantime! I hope karma bites him in the arse and you get to dump him

I'm Australian but I never had a top sheet on my bed until I moved in with my partner about a year ago. It seemed so strange to me and I still find it not that different from not having one, just more washing! I guess it is nice to be able to kick the doona off the top and just have the sheet if you get hot but are

How does one even find themselves in her situation? I'm asking for a friend.

Awesome, thanks so much for that! Yeah not keen on anything rapey for obvious reasons and I'll give that site a shot! I actually downloaded a Beatrice Small novel on ibooks at 2am after posting and reading how many people had read her books as I used to love historical fiction too :)

Can anyone recommend some "good" romance novels set in the present day (or within one hundred years)? I read a Mills & Boon for one of my English classes at Uni and was captivated. I think it was from their "Sweet Romance" series? It was really too "sweet" for my taste, I think I'm more into the "bodice ripping"

Oh God, where is the rest of the woman behind him?! Is it just disembodied arms or am I missing something?

That is fantastic, you have made my morning. If I knew how to post a gif I would have done.

I didn't realise that it was an Australian/New Zealand thing and nowhere else had it. +1 to knowledge for today.

I was in the same situation with my partner: his just isn't/wasn't as high as mine. I felt like I wasn't enough, that I was unattractive etc despite all his assurances this was not the case. All because of the stupid conditioning or whatever that had always told me that men had higher sex drives and were ready for it

Hello! Australia is awesome (aside from our politicians at the moment) :D Visas as far as I'm aware (have friends and cousins that have done this, I live here) you can work in the same place for 6 months then you have to move. Pretty sure they're fairly easy to get, although my family are from the UK and it helps in

I'm in Australia and we have a site called booko.com.au which will show the cheapest place to buy a book/DVD/ebook, including postage. It's great, I used it for Uni textbooks and save hundreds. I wonder if they have a similar site specific for where you are? If so, that could be worthwhile :)

Love your screen name btw

Oh wow, the character was from Perth? That in itself is amazing, I didn't think that majority of the world knew we existed! That's super weird though. I understand the theory behind method acting but when nutjobs put it into practice it gets, well... nutty.

I was super into reading film books at one point and there was a whole chapter in one of them devoted to that. If I remember rightly the etiquette was to apologise either way :p

I understand. I would do the same thing for Wicked. 495 times to go!

For extra fun can someone make shadow puppets with their hands in front of the projector? Cake doubling for food AND entertainment! $12,000? Bargain! Give me two!

Thanks to your comment I fell down a Wikipedia serial killer hole yet again. Why does it all both fascinate and terrify me beyond belief?! Not your fault of course!

I laughed way too hard at this, I actually snorted and then had to try and turn it into a cough.

OMG I think her old nose is like mine! I too could be super duper attractive if I had millions of dollars, knew how makeup worked and had stylists at every turn! Who knew?!

"Aiken Forceks". I nearly snorted out loud in my English lecture. Thank you.

Yep, that last line pretty much sums it up for me.
