to me this is already better than the last two seasons combined, and i loved those.

I thought it for a second and now that second has turned into hours:
Who else thought for a second that Noho Hank showed up in the car following Kim?
My gut feeling since season 1 has always been that Kim doesn’t die, but I also have never bought into the notion that she’s hanging just off camera throughout Breaking Bad. Especially given what’s unfolded this season and last, my guess is that she has to skip town for some yet unforseen reason (maybe involving their…
Hard for me to buy Jimmy continuing his jovial clown persona from BrBa if Kim is murdered due to his actions in BCS. Gotta think that would certainly crush his spirit.
I felt like Mike’s “You’re made of sterner stuff” was foreshadowing, I just can’t decide what it was foreshadowing.
Best scheme ever. From Jimmy’s Howard hair to the hooker getting tossed out of the car, to the sign falling over at the end—-non stop laughter.
Sally’s slip back into her people-pleaser mode with Barry is so creepy. The spaghetti, the gaming controller -- it’s all deeply disturbing. This season is definitely lighter on the laughs and pitching toward the real-world horror of this world. It’s a really interesting reinvention.
He’s in the throes of a psychotic break and is fixated on making amends to Gene. I don’t think his car would be of great concern to him.
I can see both Chloe and Natalie finding out about Barry’s secret; Chloe through some helpful investigating, Natalie through resentment boiling over into hiring a hitman to kill Sally.
This was a really funny episode. Three lines that got big laughs from me and my gal stand out: the breaking-up woman’s simple explanation (as their dogs chased Gene through their yard) after her lover listed all the good things about their relationship, “you have too many dogs;” Gene’s asking a kind stranger on the…
He’s a violent person with demonstrable trouble controlling the intensity of his emotions. Was that outburst really surprising from someone who went on a literal murder rampage at the end of last season?
Damn, they are going full-boar with Barry completely losing it. There were a few times Hader legit scared me this episode. Dude’s have a full on psychosis meltdown. His eyes.
“I don’t remember Barry ever treating Sally poorly before”
Barry at the end there:
Barry’s genius will always lie in its ability to find the perfect bit of off-handed comedy during a high-intensity situation. In addition to “too many dogs” and NoHo Hank’s watching Cristobal leave (and leave... and leave), Fernando being baffled/disgusted by the amount of cupholders he counted was delightful.
God, I…
I feel like for the first time in the show I was actually frightened of Barry. The show is always more comedic. Here I felt I was watching a real psychopath.
I mean, I think the irony is camaraderie and love could have worked if they’d applied it. Tom is disloyal because Shiv has so strongly messaged that he isn’t loved. They don’t even account for their mother in their plan.
As soon as I saw all the kids on the same side for the first time, strategizing in the car, supporting each other, I knew it was over for them. Camaraderie?! Love?! That’s not how any of this works, you dummies.
“Save that piss for my chest.”
