To be fair, most people in Japan don't use Facebook, especially if they're teenagers (and especially if they live in the rural part of Japan). If I'm remembering correctly Mitsuha had a flip phone, which isn't all that uncommon in Japan, which makes sense why she wouldn't have a social media account.

…I completely forgot about the Duwang memes. Nevermind, Part 4 has a lot.

I'm happy to see Jojo on your list. Diamond is Unbreakable is my favorite part so far. I feel that there's less attention towards this part because it has less iconic memes.

Your dedication to end every post with "word" is genuinely admirable.

That's true, but Netflix seems to be a lot more popular than Amazon Prime (I don't live in the US so I don't know, but that's the impression I gathered from my American friends).

Not being on netflix is a huge blow. It's a real shame, because just by hearing the premise it's already interesting but people just haven't got the chance to be exposed to it. I would never have learnt the existence of this show if it weren't for the AV club.

…You do realize P&R has been feminist from the beginning right? The only season where feminism isn't prominent is season 1 (which I haven't seen in a while, so correct me if I'm wrong), which is unanimously agreed as a weak season.

The mockumentary style is just the narrative style, the viewers were never really supposed to take it seriously (aside from few the times they DID mention a camera following around, but that's just early season weirdness, I guess).

Agreed. It also helped that his appearances were more spaced out, unlike that period in Season 5 where he seemed to appear in Every. Single. Episode.

Retooling Craig this season is another good example too. Even though I LIKED shouty Craig in season 6, he's so much better in this one.

"That man has the largest penis I've ever seen. I actually don't even know if he has mumps. I forgot to look. I was distracted by the largest penis I've ever seen."

I feel like with those seasons, I enjoyed the moments rather than the whole episode. Of course, there were exceptions, and I still like Season 5/6, but it just wasn't as consistently great as Season 2-4.

I'm surprised there's not a personal top 10 episodes thread yet! Here's mine (in no particular order, and I probably would change my mind by the time I post this):

'Sometimes people are like, “Oh!” And I’m like, “No.”'

Thanks, I'll go listen to it now. Your last line basically sums up how I feel about his comedy now.

Not gonna lie, this made me tear up. Where is this from?

I've been re-listening to Farts and Pro since I've heard about his death, but man, it just isn't hitting me that he's dead. It feels like Harris will post on his twitter with a dumb joke any minute now.

As he said himself in that speech, the late Mayor Gunderson didn't do shit. Garry wouldn't have any work that he will mess up with, and he'll enjoy a great time before he retires and gets to spend time with his super hot wife. It's a win-win situation.

Honestly if you see someone referring women as "females"/ black people as "blacks"/ gay people as "gays" it's a good sign that they're sexist/racist/homophobic.
