I really enjoyed Beckinsale in Cold Comfort Farm. That's a cute movie. I thought it was older than Much Ado, but it came out in '95.

I expected this to be a Teti piece.

(I don't know what I'm going to do in these comments now.)

I'm at a bar and two beers in!

I wish we had gotten a third season of Manhattan.

Your cat went away to earn an associate's degree at a local community college.

No mention of funeral potatoes? Those things are tasty. Although it looks like they're mainly a Mormon thing, so I'm not really sure why I know about them.

FURGU— no wait you spelled it right.

I really appreciate the closed captions spelling it out:

Who doesn't love a classic Winston & Cece mess-around?

(Why isn’t he stroking Ferguson Blofeld-style in that shot?)

FURGUSON.

Notorious or Convicted, Notorious or Convicted…

It's a classic Emily mess-around.

FURGUSON.

I think it was HDB who told me about this?

Aw, I liked both. But yeah, Brave and the Bold was excellent. Best Aquaman ever. Plus Blue and Gold shenanigans!

My folks are Jewish and Catholic (well, a severely lapsed Catholic). During December these days, we just do Christmas because of my brother's kids and his in-laws, it's easier to combine everything (but also annoying, which is why we've added beer to breakfast).

On Christmas morning, alongside our bagels and lox, my family drinks Schneider Weisse. My dad gets Aventinus, the rest of us get the original. Good stuff.

Thanks, I'll check out Spot On! I really don't care about fertility tracking (I'm ace), and it has been a minor annoyance that I can't turn that feature off. And I like the idea of using an app by Planned Parenthood.
