The "Taxi of Tomorrow" boondoggle is just another example of Bloomberg thinking he could force his will on one of the most wildly diverse cities in the country. It was never going to work because so many ancillary businesses and business deals have popped up around the taxi industry here over the years - things like

Anecdotal evidence: I picked up Jared Cook this season off the wire after he put up 10 points in week 3 against Dallas. ESPN projected at least 12 points for him every. single. week. Before his two-touchdown performance last week, he only met that projection once (week 10) and put up under 5 points in six games. Same

It may be a minor refresh, but for some reason it's enough for me to go from :( to :) on the styling overall. The lack of a manual is truly galling though - doesn't Kia sell buckets of base-model Souls with a third pedal here?

This has been pointed out before, but the reason that Bud Light ad is even worth watching is the look on the man's face when he first sees Warren Sapp, as he clearly has no idea who he is, but knows he's supposed to be reacting to... something.

Ah the coupe! You're lucky to have spent your formative years in that cocoon.

In my mind that's like comparing a battleship to an aircraft carrier. They're both large boats, but one is titanic.

I have a current and enduring fascination with these boats.

Now that is a fine American motorcar.

True story - I was riding in a cab in the West Village a couple of years ago on a one lane road with cars parked all the way down on the left side. As we came to the end of the block, a line of four cars waiting to turn right was taking up most of the lane. The light turned yellow, so instead of braking, my daring

It's astounding, really.

Cadillac just needs to make the damn Elmiraj.

It matters not from whence the drop came, but that it is dropped at all.

The rally-prepped Sprinter (same one? can't remember the livery) was the best part of the NYIAS this year.

This Taco is already destroyed, he's just trying to finish the job. Also, that wobble from the rear end at :18 as he tries to drive it off is just magical. No dice.

You must have been with my friend Jeff! He took a very similar picture.

Burritos of any kind!

Anecdotally, I just watched an hour of SportsCenter and the only mention of golf was a segment on how terrible Tiger was yesterday.

Seeing as how I started my comment with that, yes, it is pretty clear I don't follow golf. Isn't it a problem for the future sport, then, that as a potential golf fan, every time I see there's a post or segment about him on a pan-sports website or show, it's about how much he's struggling? I'm not going to seek out

Reminds me so much of that idiotic "I am the 1% and I stand with the 99%" trend a few years back.

As someone who doesn't follow golf, why is Tiger still a big deal? For the past few years, I feel like literally every post, Sportscenter segment or whatever mentioning him (and there have been a lot) has been about how poorly he's playing at whatever fancy-pants tournament he's currently at. Well, that's not like
