Yes, I’m with you on that. The planet destroying threat for the FOURTH time (DSI, DSII, Starkiller Base, Sith Destroyers). C’mon - they could have just blown up a city or two, not a whole planet again. That really would have been enough.

The problem isn’t this film. The problem isn’t the first or second installments in this trilogy. The problem was not having a coherent consistency and progression through all three films.
I disagree 100%. This is just the right format for this story. It can be slow and meandering all it wants. It makes the tension more impactful when it needs to be, and we have a fresh meal to digest each week instead of in a single sitting.
The bounty hunter droid reprogrammed to be a peaceful docile servant ends up saving them with ultra-violence, and that will cause Mando to abandon his concerns that the reprogramming isn’t completely reliable and it could still become a threat?
He’d heard of it yes, but did he believe it was real?
Not me, no. At first he was trying to figure out how to use his power to help Mando, whom he thought was in a physical fight with Cara. You could see her feel it elsewhere, but she kept locked with Mando’s hand until BY figured out the throat was the most effective place to exert the pressure.
I don’t see this as foreshadowing an uncontrollable danger. He thought Cara was hurting Mando somehow. Like when dogs can get protective when you’re play fighting with their owner. For me, it was a demonstration of how tight their bond has grown.
Sorry, several minutes? Your watch might not be working properly.
A dozen at least, on every recap. He’s become insufferable.
Is that why Boba Fett has such a massive fan following? Because he’s not flat, has more than minimal dialogue, lots of body language and a unique highly developed personality?
Carlos the Dwarf has spoken. :)
The Mandalorian has done a nice job of reminding us, all season long, that unless you’re hanging around with Skywalkers, the idea of the Force being real is pretty much science fiction. (Or whatever you call it when you live in space. Oh. Fantasy. That’s what you’d call it.)
Still too old to be dating 21 year olds but still.
If Trump tweated that it would make them national heroes and totally trigger the libtards, I could easily see 1m of his cult members instantly volunteering.
By ‘selective club of people’ you really mean ‘anyone working in the film industry who opts to pay Academy membership dues’ right?
I was scratching my head over Kit “She’s Mah Queen” Harington’s nomination, but yeah.
To be fair he was playing a larger than life type of character.
The tension and cinematography in the opening 15 minutes are so really made me feel like I was about to see a standout horror movie, but unfortunately I agree with your assessment and will also add that I liked it better than Get Out. Seriously.
And that’s intended as a criticism of AV, and not you?
I didn’t catch any hints that she gets into character in the bedroom, but he’s closer to it than anyone else is.
