wow. allison williams is just take-your-breath-away stunning.

thanks for linking!

thank you so much for this, lindy.

i'm on a burner so i can't link, but everyone should click through to the daily beast article that the slate article links to that explains how the same station ended up having a 14-year-old girl admit she had been raped at age 12 on-air in 2009. Oof.

i'm still not totally sure about this whole thing, but i do understand your point.

oh my god.

hahaha oh dear that was my thought too. on the bright side, there's a 50% chance i'll be moving to tennessee next year and i am nervous and possible johnny depp sightings are helping.

i wanna get high with emma stone SO BAD now

yeah, totally. it also changes the very important relationship between authorities and the media.

i understand what you're saying, but there's a big difference between an employer googling you before he hires you and reading a news story about your dui arrest, and everyone from your high school seeing your face pinned to a warrant when they're looking for muffin recipes. it's just kind of uncanny.

wow, i was really starting to thinking i was the only person on the planet who saw a problem with this. thank you! haha, i'm glad i'm not crazy.

and so i'm equally uncomfortable with that.

now now, calm down. i think what is icking me out about this is the permanence of the internet. i totally get how this will be helpful. it just makes me nervous.

i guess just the permanence of the online medium. it just makes me uncomfortable.

ick. i do not like this one bit. i always have a hard time with the public-shaming approach to law enforcement. i mean, these people haven't been convicted of anything, they just have warrants out on them.

Dodai, i almost always completely agree with you but grrrrl... that pepto-colored, no-skin-but-peep-my-nipples monstrosity looks terrible. and anne hathaway's dress is magnificent. she deserves to have all eyes on her, and it's totally unique and daring and cool. plus, the girl can pose, so why not.

i don't wanna i don't wanna i don't wanna i don't wanna

i am a native new yorker, and i approve this message

i am dying. my boss is going to fire me because i cannot silence the giggles. totally worth it. thank you.

they are clearly just making stuff up, which seems somewhat more sinister when they claim to be quoting a medical professional...
