The camera is ok. Not the best color capture, but I've seen worse from more popular phones. Definitely not the best phone camera, but not the worse either. If you're not overly picky, nor trying to take professional quality pictures, then you should be fine.

The battery life on this thing though. Wow!

I believe it's from Cyanogen. I used CM on my original Nexus One, and now again on my OnePlus - very nice, crisp, simple. If you like the pure android experience, then you'll probably like CM.
