Just curious, which "theatre-in-a-box" systems do you own that sound that great? I've heard a few at friends' homes that are just god-awful. I could never fathom making such a switch. Not that my gear is uber high-end, but still.

Yes. That forum is a great resource. It's also a great waste of time (if you get addicted to reading it, like me) and a horrible influence on your bank account (if you end up spending thousands on headphones like I have).

Wouldn't you be better off just buying an authentic one that lasts you twice as long?

I made the mistake of buying a $25 MBP charger - broke in 7-8 months. I should have just spend the extra $15 or so buying a proper charger. Lesson learned.

Any ideas on how I can repair headphone drivers? Both of mine blew on the $300 headphones I got (and I barely used those things). I think I can figure out the soldering part - just not sure where I can get replacement drivers...

Bhutan landings/take-offs are a bit frightening, especially when you're flying in/out during bad weather, but it's well worth it... what a beautiful country!
