Oh man, how I wish this applied to the second gen CTS-V. Those cars have held value way too well, I planned to pick one up but they’re still $40k for a decent one.

Just listened to this, thank you so much for sharing! I’m at the point where I can’t not fantasize about Trump being taken down, this is probably our best hope yet as the Russia investigation seems to be taking forever. Fingers... freakin’.... crossed

Oh, so the onus is on us to prove that banning such a thing would be effective, even though conducting such a study is not prohibited under the Dickey amendment, which the NRA was fundamental in passing. That’s convenient. Why aren’t grenade launchers, fully automatic guns and flame throwers legal? I’m sure those are

And statistically speaking, how rare are mass stabbings relative to mass shootings? The United States disproportionately accounts for more mass killings than any other country in the world, almost all occur because of semi-automatic guns. We have a problem and something needs to be done. Assault rifles statistically

I would love to provide some statistics showing how ARs and handguns are so deadly, but I can’t because the NRA lobbied to make those kinds of studies impossible to fund by the government. Also, I’d certainly rather be in a situation involving a deranged individual with a knife or “bare hands” than a gun of any kind.

This is the most walmart thing ever

Despite being complete BS, this did give me a nice mental image.

“What I am against is passing ineffective laws like an assault weapons ban that would restrict my right to defend myself and my country while simultaneously not saving any lives.”

““$150k isn’t really that much money when you have a mortgage and family”

A friend of mine graduated recently and has very nearly $500k in debt from it, which he said was not uncommon, so that’s why I used that number. My wife is an optometrist and most of her classmates graduated with $250-300k in debt, which is shorter and typically less costly than med school.

Ford should have Cena this coming

Very well said. I understand with people taking issue with executives who are paid enormous sums of money, but doctors? I’m fine with it.

You basically said what I was trying to, but in a much better way. My friend paid nearly half a million in education to get to where he is now, tack on interest and it will easily surpass a million dollars before he pays it off.... he deserves to be compensated well solely based on that, but then you add in the years

Medical school can easily cost $500k today. With interest, this is an even more substantial amount of money. This doesn’t make sense financially for a career making $150k, especially when you consider the stress and hours many of them work.

Eh, most of my friends who became doctors did so largely because of the compensation. The narrative you mentioned actually fits in their case, though I’m not saying it applies universally.

“I would even consider spending Mustang GT money on one.”

I’m with you... I’d even go so far as to say the C7 design is gross and completely tasteless.

You know who else liked 6 cylinder engines? Hitler.

So. Good. HAHAHAAH

Engine was lazy, transmission and clutch were damn near impossible to operate smoothly, interior was fisher-price level quality, seats were not supportive, visibility was poor, etc, etc, etc. With all that being said, I think the Z cars are gorgeous and I loved the sound of the engine. It was a car that I loved to
