No worries. To answer your question, yes, the battery is replaceable. Tesla designed the cars to ride on a modular platform and at one point there was even a plan to do battery swaps for long trips, which was supposedly like a 90 second job. Tesla wouldn’t CPO a car like that.

They already have an 8 year warranty on it, CPO will likely have an extension of that term. Range will decrease over time like with any battery, but running costs are also a ton less expensive. It’s all a trade off.

Here’s the thing, even if it isn’t perfect people will still love it. The car doesn’t have to be Lexus/BMW/MB/etc level quality because where in the hell else are you going to find a midsize fully electric car with a good range that doesn’t look like bad Japanese anime?
