You might want to edit your article, the Leaf is on it's own bespoke chassis. It was designed from the ground up to be an electric car and it shares no drivetrain or platforms with other nissan vehicles.

Oh I'm sorry, the SLS AMG is some reasonably priced common-place car now. My bad.

The drivetrain was supposed to be very similar to the S, which is the only reason I think the delays could be attributed to the doors. Tesla sales people have been trying to steer people to the AWD Model S for a while now, I think because they knew the X was having issues.

Have you seen the doors on the X? This isn't something that's ever been put on an SUV before, no less a non-exotic car.

I love that they told investors to fuck off if they don't like that they're waiting until the product is perfect to release it. Elon's dickishness is in full effect.

I think you'd get a lot of people interested if you posted an article that looked at the oddities between these valuation sites. You and I know better than to use KBB because of issues like this, but most people (including banks and other lenders) use it as a trusted value resource.

I came here just to post this. I liked that it wasn't so over the top.

I've actually emailed Jalop writers about this before and have never gotten a response- why is it that KBB only gives "excellent" as the condition for used cars from a dealership? I swear that company does everything in it's power to help dealers out while screwing over the consumer.

Cool, now make the IDx.

The Equus is a damn good looking car, but I always assumed it was another janky BMW wannabe. Yesterday I sat in one at our local CarMax and damn that car is impressive! $29k for a 2011 with very low miles makes for a compelling argument against a base model BMW from a similar year.

I used to love BMW back in the days of the E39 and E46, but they kind of lost me after that.

You think they care? Lol.

that's great and all except for the fact that for some reason these awesome cab companies don't give two shits about customer service or even having a clean car. The taxi system has become horribly operated and people hate dealing with them, it's the only reason why companies like Uber exist. You can't tell me that

I think you should do a CLK63, though I dont think CarMax will have one in inventory.

Probably because they're boring to drive and owners continue to chase the mod dragon hoping to make the car fun.

And the winner for douchiest post ever on Jalopnik goes to.....

Good call. Soft touch materials are nice and all, but with that kind of a bargain you can't complain too much. Thanks for the reply!

Nice! I'm hoping to pick one up too next year. They're just an absolute bargain and they handled great.
