Until I see it, I'm not too hopeful. It seems like everything cool gets taken from us thanks to bean counters :(

Is it too early to call the Nissan IDX?

I agree, though you have to admit that they're getting a lot better in that regard too.

LOVE these things! Very very rare and a future collectible for sure.

Reno has a ton of these creepy motels. The Merry Wink is especially scary to me when they light it up at night.

I think the 3.5l engine was a great motor for 2004, but a decade later it isn't cutting it. Sure it's reliable and has a decent powerband, but in no way does it compare to the N54 BMW motor. The IS-F actually wasn't far behind for its time as the competition was doing similar setups, but the car itself never reviewed

Its not that they're bad, I just don't see any compelling reason to ever purchase one over the BMW/Mercedes/Audi/Cadillac equivalent. The new styling is definitely wild and un-Lexus like, but the engines and drivetrains leave a lot to be desired.

If they can get the graphics to be this good, the ONLY thing left is a virtual reality helmet that works with it. Imagine that while using a nice steering wheel/pedal setup!

I had an obnoxious show-off car and all it accomplished was making me feel embarrassed on a routine basis. The type of women who go for that thing are generally terrible people anyways, so it's just not worth it.

Someone has probably already mentioned it, but I'd certainly say the RX8 was a total failure in this regard.

As others have mentioned, there's more to it than that. Body kit is different, seats, steering wheel, etc... and then the warranty.

I'd still gladly take a last gen A3 S Line. Great looking little car that is really practical. Like an improved gti.

1. Make driver's version of a sports car targeted at purists and track rats

You're the first person I've heard really complain about the DSG. I own one and love it, though I'm not opposed to rowing my own gears in a hot hatch like this. In what way was it worse than a regular automatic? It's stupid fast, very smooth and has better fuel economy than a regular auto. The only downside I can

awesome article! Can you please write an article about Kelley Blue Book? I find it odd that their retail prices for the same car are $2-6k higher than nada, and it's also bogus that their site only allows "excellent" condition as an option for used cars at a dealership retail price. Lots of shady shit with that

$7k a day. Wow, shit just got real.

For $40k there are a lot of cars that I'd much, much rather buy. Sadly though, none of them are as versatile, reliable and practical.

Furthermore, I think you'd be even better off grabbing a CPO E9x 335i than the M3. With a $500 tune you can be faster than the M and plus you can get features like AWD if you need it. You'll save about $10k going that route instead.

No GTI?!

Diesel is pretty much the only thing that I can think of.
