No, I specifically stated that if the pics were put online dishonestly, then I get it. That’s why I put the ??? as in “were these put online without consent.” I’m not justifying online abuse, just stating that if you post pics of yourself on a public site, you cannot expect privacy related to those (or any) pics

I’m not saying they deserve harassment. And I had to look up the word ‘dox’... if that tells you anything. I am in no way condoning any form of harassment. I’m trying to understand that if you post pictures of yourself online (even separate sites)... how can you expect privacy? Those pics are publicly viewable, right?

It’s hard to have symapthy for those who willfully put pics of themselves online to begin with. If the pics were dishonestly obtained and put online, that’s one thing... but as I understand it, these pics were willfully put online???

I had to look up the definition of genius... as I thought I had it wrong. Nope, I have it right... I believe you need to look up the definition :-/

Good riddance to them and their absolutely criminal level of late fees.

Wouldn’t that put him in a more relevant position to preach safety? It has personally affected him. Like an AA counselor who’s been through it. I’m just saying... just because someone has made an error doesn’t disqualify that person from trying to argue for ways to prevent future errors.

I don’t know about center locks, but can one be improperly torqued? And fall off? One mistake on a centerlock and you are nearly 100% sure of an accident. The whole point of multi-lug is redundancy, right?

The u looks to be steel, which melts at several hundred degrees C higher than brass. Anyone locking up something with brass isn’t terribly concerned about keeping it safe anyway.

Or make the rule that all 5 have to be put on... that seems pretty simple. Yes, they can break the rule... any rule can be broken. But it’s not like 5 lugs presents some insurmoutable obstacle.

NASCAR has a rich tradition... that is part of it. That’s why MLB still uses wooden bats. I don’t follow stock car racing, but I understand the reasoning. If you want to chase the latest and greatest tech, you’d end up with F1. But then don’t be surprised when half the teams are priced out of competing.

I can’t help but think the ‘medicate your problems away’ mentality that so many people take is a contributor. Especially parents medicating their kids at the drop of a hat.

It’s a case of the emperor’s new clothes. No one wants to admit it’s not that great and certainly not worth the risk, lest you look uncultured. Bravo for your honest review of the experience!

“...Largest Cyclone Ever Recorded... Is Very Large”

Why wasn’t the word ‘drone’ used in the title and within the article a dozen or more times. Gizmodo is slipping.

Bonnie and Clyde vs Chloe. What??? And many other unrelated scenes. This video is grasping at straws... ridiculous.

Paying homage to fairytales doesn’t make a movie a fairytale. Hanna should not be on this list. I really did enjoy the movie, though.

Since these are actual photos... don’t they depict the dystopian PRESENT?

Not sure if you read the article? Photos are not PShopped trickery.

100% agree! Absorbing and adapting stories from other cultures/regions is perfectly natural and absolutely OK to do... no guilt required! Something about imitation and flattery comes to mind.
