You make a fair point. I do believe that Apple and Microsoft probably should have had more secure browsers. But that doesn't mean Google had to take advantage of the exploit. They were clearly trying to cheat the user and the browser and do something the browser didn't want them to do, regardless of if they were able

To use another commenter's analogy, say you're having a party and the neighbor's dog jumps through your window and bites one of your guests. You think YOU should be sued?

I was trying to think of a good analogy. This is it.

Nothing is free. Plain and simple.

Because Google is the one with malicious intent. Apple (and Microsoft, for this matter) can't possibly be expected to block every single kind of attack. No matter what, there's always going to be someone that finds a way in, and Google did so by tricking the browser into thinking third-party cookies were first-party

Someone promote this man. Oh wait, he already is.... Carry on.

Can someone do a mockup with all of them centered?

Steve Jobs already personally said touch surfaces are meant to be horizontal, not vertical, because of exhaustion. But if they were to use the current iMac design but allow the screen to bend far back to a horizontal position, it could work.

what? What point are you even trying to make? I'm not saying you have to think iPad is good. I'm just debating your initial, absolutely ridiculous points.

All of your statements/arguments are ludicrous.

I've never advertised with Google so you obviously have a better idea of how this works than I, but my major issue with Google is that I am not a customer.

Oh, boy! I just can't wait for this "simpler" and "more intuitive" experience Google will provide for me by selling all of my personal information to advertisers, regardless of how I feel!

I just got rid of Facebook entirely and switched to Path. It's built to be small and personal. Even if I wanted to get as many "friends" as I had on Facebook it would be impossible. I love it.

They're letting you use their software for free, in exchange for being the sole store you sell your book on. Why should they let you sell it anywhere else? If you'd like to, don't use Apple's free software.

"You wasted 4 minutes of my life and I want them baaaack... oh, I'd only waste them anyway."

I'm actually kind of impressed. At least they aren't completely ripping off Apple with these designs. Definite influence, but still different.

See my previous post.

There are way more people with iPads than Macs. Apple has gained a lot of Windows users. How do you explain that? Oh, I know. They're making a good product.

You and SeraphX2 are only saying this now because the Kindle Fire is cheaper. iPad is still an extremely cheap and affordable computer. It's like saying Ikea furniture isn't cheap anymore because Walmart has a couch for $100 less.

We really don't know how successful the Kindle Fire has been. Amazon has only released numbers on the entire Kindle line. That says a lot. Companies release numbers on products that sell well. It's why Apple doesn't brag about AppleTV sales numbers and why Google skims over Android profits.
