So the back key intermittently works... and so does the swipe gesture. This is definitely cool, but I feel like their should be at least one reliable way to hide the keyboard.

I work at an indie Apple repair shop and I had a guy come in the other day saying "they told me to download an anti-virus program so I did and now I have a virus." Sure enough it was MacProtector, locking up his machine at boot and going crazy.

For anyone who still believes Macs are invincible, I work at a certified Apple reseller/repair center and I had a guy come in who said, "They told me to download some anti-virus and now I think I have a virus."

It's partially Google's fault for allowing them to do that. The consumer isn't concerned with WHY they can't get visual voicemail or a search engine other than Bing without rooting their phone. They just want to be able to do it. Which is why Android really isn't "open" in the way people tout it to be (being able to

I too have noticed the iPad angle thing. It's so cool that it actually accounts for the angle and how a person would be touching it viewing it from there. They obviously did a good job for the person holding it because I never miss anything when its facing me.

"But water has no taste." Those people are the worst. If you don't like to drink water, something is wrong.

Did you grow up on it? Anyone I've ever met that preferred the taste of diet to regular drank it when they were little because that's what their parents had.

You don't have to root your phone to download it as it was originally intended?

But I heard it's a totally "open" club. And that they do no evil.

That really is pretty neat. I used the TurboTax iPhone app to do my taxes sort of like this. Just took a picture of my W-2 and the app did the rest!

My mistake.

I totally agree with you. But my point was FreshDirect, a service that delivers groceries to your door, is maybe just as convenient, and the produce is much fresher/lasts much longer.

It really does seem like too much work, especially when lettuce is relatively cheap.

Poor design? Apple? According to Dieter Rams, Apple is the ONLY company that cares about design.

Haha, yeah I'll admit it's not the best looking in the photo, but in real life you can't see the USB port because it's under the top layer of the desk which overhangs the USB port. I would have waited and get a dremel if I thought it was going to be seen but it's totally invisible in real life and works great.

Thanks for sharing my desk, Whiston!

Haha this is actually my desk. I agree it looks bad up close but it's underneath the top layer of the desk. It's pretty invisible unless you look under the desk.

What does the thing I use to look outside of my apartment have to do with anything?? WHERE AM I!?

It's not about the reasons. Everyone is different and video calling is not for everyone but is for some people. The point is there's no reason why you should be upset the video calling is becoming a feature. You don't have to use it. It's there if you want it. And I don't know how it works on Android but on iOS you
