Jesus has had no problem ripping into Apple lately.

iPhone's with Cocoa

@atrus123: Funny you should say that. I just had Cablevision call me trying to get me to subscribe to their TV (i already have internet) and I told them I wasn't interested. He then asked me, "why? you don't wanna see the world cup?" and i go "of course i do! but i stream it on my computer!"

@atrus123: Netflix Streaming has got to be one of the greatest things the TV (and my iPad) have ever seen.

@Matt da brat on da wheels of steel: to be fair, Engadget threw the unit across the room. My EnV3 IMMEDIATELY got scratched and they're baaad. Just because it got scratched doesn't mean it's not scratch resistant.

"duuude, you have so many apps! iPhone 4 gives you Folders; use 'em!"

@sweetelectro: I think it was just because the Retina Display would cost way too much money at that size. Plus, the iPad was a gamble, just like any new product. They decided to put what they thought was most important and cost effective and it obviously worked. Apple isn't in the business of fucking people over.

@Matt0505: You answered your own question; to justify their own choices in life! It's usually because it was a bad one.

@MePeePee: iPhone 4 isn't better than iPad; it's different. Anyone who has used both knows that. You clearly haven't. iPad is something that really needs to be used to fully realize how great it really is. I'm absolutely in love with mine. That doesn't make me a fanboy or an idiot. That makes me someone who wanted a

@Wade McGillis: Because it's not something you constantly have out like an iPhone. A lot of these people are only using them in their homes. I, on the other hand, have used mine at coffee shops and at friends' houses but that's about it as far as public use goes.

for a split second i read the transmission speaker system as $2,000 and couldn't imagine why that's a ridiculous amount of money for some great speakers. Then I realized it was $2,000,000... Hoo boy.

@oyanobaka: Yes, I did. But first of all it says "in theory" and second of all, that still doesn't bother me. So they know where user#12543 is at any given time. I don't mind if they sell that information and say "Hey, this user was in Brooklyn and bought a coffee."

great, more 1984 jokes. As long as it's anonymous (which i'm sure it is) i really have no issue with this at all. Apple, being under the very bright spotlight that it is, would be wise to be very careful about this sort of thing. And Apple is no dummy.

@Gary_7vn: yep, every time a new technology comes out people freak. Print media was thought to be frying our brains from over-stimulation in the same way people think the internet is. The human body is extremely complex and built to readjust. Heh... READjust.

@geedots: what? maybe i'm misunderstanding you but if you set up your email as IMAP when you read it on your computer it will be read on your iPhone and vice versa
