My only negative comment is The Thing sounds like he’s on helium. Okay not that bad but that pitch of a voice is simply wrong for The Thing. Hate to say it but it needs to be gravelly.

I literally just woke up a few minutes ago, and now we’re all seeing pictures no one has seen before, and will soon be learning things about Pluto no one has known before. Yeah, that’s kinda cool.

It has been awesome sharing this event with my daughters. My oldest was dumbfounded to learn that this probe launched right about the time she was born. Her response; “Mind officially blown!”. Gotta’ love it!

For a wealthier kid paid vs unpaid is of little consequence. They’ll also get paid work being a law firm’s gopher for the summer or a lab tech or whatever. Lots of middle and working class kids are volunteering at hospitals and community centers in addition to working a register, but of course that volunteer work…
