Wow that’s pretty great.

Actually a subscription makes more sense to me too, mainly because I can’t imagine Apple setting up service centers in every other neighbourhood. Presumably it would be much more practical to centralize maintenance...

Now playing

It has to be. You can levitate from a non-magnetic surface, e.g. a road made of frogs (a toadroad?!), but the magnets would need to be hella powerful.

Maybe a bit pricy for the kms, but I reckon if that were the kind of car you were looking for it would be a reasonable buy. Not a steal, but probably a solid purchase (if it is indeed as good as it looks).

When did NASCAR become MarioKart?

Maserati Bora! Cool choice and another Italdesign classic!

Let’s not forget my favourite Maser!

Dat ass! I can’t decide which angle it looks best from!

Hm. That would make a nice first car for someone who wanted something proper!

Yeah fair call - my response was a bit snarky. I do agree that vintage obscurity is definitely called for here (phh who am I kidding - it’s always called for!), but I’d go for something more butch than an Alpine. Maybe an Iso?

OK, so in an inredibly crucial time they were producing expensive and ineffective aircraft, albeit ones that looked (and probably sounded) fabulous.

Because nothing says rock n roll like 1100cc’s of 1960s French engineering?

Oh man. A guy showed up to my work in one of those a few months ago. Out of curiosity, I couldn’t help but have a look. They are beyond awful. CP!

Yeah! Also, I was at a party on the weekend and a friend I havn’t seen in a while turned up in a bright red manual V70 wagon. I think I came across a little weird when I couldn’t contain my excitement to discuss large swedish station wagons...

Could you do an article on what makes the Kamaz trucks so successful in the Dakar? Is the the team? The drivers or the trucks themselves?

Wow! Cool! Multiple stars for obscurity!

I never thought it would ever come to this, but I think my next car might be a Volvo.

Noo, just a regular 1.6, but it was red :) Actually the GTIs (they were 1.9s in Oz) are appreciating now. I should really get one while I still can...

Peugeot 205 1.6. Awesome, unbreakable little car, despite my best attempts while learning to drive. I just wish it were easier to get one now that hasn’t been trashed!

Aaaand Mark Webber continues his well-practiced tradition of almost, but not quite winning things.
