You are so right, and this is so depressing. We keep seeing the response, “Why should we care? — there aren’t enough of them to matter,” and people aren’t able to see how that’s exactly why we’re even talking about them. It’s how you know that their religious beliefs are “sincerely held.” These are very consistent, very moral, very sincere people. That’s why they get to use that phrase whenever they want to discriminate. Their sincerity is beyond what anyone else has.

Many of these people become millionaires in a matter of a couple of weeks. This county has a lot of loud bigots like her, but also there are far more quiet bigots who think she’s a hero.

My university had an above-average rate of Greek affiliation. I was a musician, and there were many times that I performed at events like birthday parties inside sororities. I don’t have a single nice thing to say about any of those experiences. Just pure hellscapes, every time, for all four years.

Where are the gay, lesbian, or atheist parents? Why isn’t anyone suing these districts? The clothing is designed to show the crotch area modestly. Apparently some people don’t want to show a bulge, and so there’s a market for this sort of product. Anyway, it doesn’t matter. You can simply not buy one.

To be clear: Christians demand that bathing suits show the visible outline of a child’s penis. This is what they think we should all be focusing on.
