I love STP because of the DeLeo brothers! If you're a musician, look at the guitar chords to "Plush", then look at the bass line. Who uses those chords? And what grunge bass player actually plays a harmony? What bass player uses 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 note rests except for Geddy Lee??? Whaaaaaa???? It's good stuff! Trust me!

There is talk (TALK!) of making naloxone more available in the U.S. I guess we need to wait for an important person's son/daughter or America's sweetheart (no, not Catherine Zeta-Jones) to die of an OD before that happens. Sorry, America. You are surrounded by solutions AND the stupidest motherfuckers on the planet

I'd drive you home, but I'm pretty shitty myself. Maybe we can share a cab?

It's okay. I'm drinking too.

Great albums! I remember in 99/00 — when music was so shitty that they blamed Napster on bad record sales — that people were looking to STP for putting out good rock albums. Ray Gun Magazine said they were the band that saved rock n' roll. Hyperbole, sure. But that's how bad music was at this time. Then people bought

Even regular users are in danger. Let's say you're used to a cut dose, and then you get something with higher purity. You can OD.

You're preaching to the choir, friend!

Yeah I did the same thing after Layne Staley died. Just FML.

Scott's Christmas album circled into rotation yesterday. I know there are a lot of haters, but his fun, upbeat "Silent Night" is a breath of fresh air after all the sentimental classic versions I'm forced to listen to this time of year.

I saw STP on election night, 1996. During the concert he said, "Thank you for not putting that old man in the White House." We didn't have cell phones, twitter, etc. so that was the first we heard that Bill Clinton was reelected.

Also, heroin ODs have nearly tripled in US b/c more people are addicted to pharmaceutical painkillers and find cheap, no-hassle heroin for relief. Heroin availability has increased by 300% in the US.

I remember when Emily Gilmore was horrified that someone might Google her.

Pro-tip: fill your absinthe fountain with ice water, not absinthe.

Who knew that the Yazidis would be the good guys in 2015? HPL sure didn't!

I love me some comfort fascism

I don't even have time for 23 episodes.

Elaine has a black boyfriend. Season 9, Episode 15.

Given that the HP books take place in the 1990s, I think Americans would be saying, "no-magic-using motherfuckers."
