I LOVED IT. Not because it’s groundbreaking or different in any way, but because it’s the perfect modern update to a comfortable show. Watching it was like eating hamburger helper - you know exactly how it’s gonna taste, and you’re not trying to pretend it’s gourmet, but that doesn’t mean it’s not delicious.

I totally agree. So many people are like “agh this show is awful!” and it’s like “yeah... it’s always been awful. what did you expect?” It’s not like it was some sophisticated art or something. It was a corny family sitcom. Why are we so shocked that the reboot is another corny family sitcom? What were we hoping for?

Full House was always corny. Fuller House is the same corniness with jokes appropriate for modern time.

I agree. I like Tina Fey but there’s been a fair bit of stuff she’s done I’m not impressed with. Fat jokes are another one I’ve seen her do in stand up. What are you gonna do I guess, I can’t think of a comic out there whose material hasn’t made me grimace at some point..

Well, the Olsen’s were at candace’s wedding, Stamos’ 50th and by all accounts are still friends with Saget’s kids. Them showing up for the reboot really wasn't a dig at the show, they just aren't interested in acting.

Honestly, I do think he’s a talented lyricist and producer. But a huge part of being talented is remaining humble, learning and pushing yourself.
