I wish that just one fucking time, just ONCE, we could discuss this without male circumcision completely taking over the fucking conversation. Christ.

Removing the clit, lopping off the labia and sewing the vaginal opening shut isn’t healthy under any conditions. Jesus Christ.

why does someone always have to take a serious women’s issue and try to make it about men?

I still don’t get why they don’t include birdsrightactivist in the tweet beat. “NO DONT GRABBER ME I NOT A PRIZE REWARD” could accurately describe many moments in my life.

We were off by 70 million? A full 50% increase over prior figures that we know of? Well, that’s horrifying.

GOD FUCKING DAMNIT KANYE

Hey Kanye ^^^

Same. I was a Kanye apologist for a long time (and I really do think he is talented) but between him slut-shaming his ex-girlfriend and now defending a serial rapist....I’m out.

Oh, Kanye. I've defended you so many times and now you turn around and do this to me? I guess we can't be best friends anymore.

Spot on assessment. I am a guy who likes the Notebook. I think it’s sweet. However, it is obvious shallow fantasy. Noah’s character can be summed up as “that guy who is madly in love with Allie”. Honestly, what else is there to him? To me, it’s very analogous to how in media that is targeted to the young male

I wAs thinking the same thing. Oh male actors don't want to play awful parts usually reserved for actresses. Imagine that!

“It was really interesting because a lot of the actors said, ‘Well, what’s Noah’s arc?” Sparks explained in a recent IMDB interview. “It’s a guy who falls in love and then he just kinda does nothing, and then waits for her to show up, and then he’s there and he’s still in love and then at the end of the film, well,

“It’s a guy who falls in love and then he just kinda does nothing, and then waits for her to show up, and then he’s there and he’s still in love and then at the end of the film, well, he’s still in love. Where’s the arc?”

I figure Sparks is just negging him to break down his self esteem and make him star in a crap movie?

I agree with Sparks’ assessment of Noah’s arc. Nicholas Sparks’ books and movies frustrate me because (among other things) one or both main characters always lacks agency and drive and just lets things happen to them. And yet readers lap it up. Maybe we’re in love with the fantasy that we can sit on our asses and have

“You’re not handsome, you’re not cool”

Dear god. You can’t find a mate because you are creepy and soulless. It’s honestly not more complicated than that.

*sigh*

It’s amazing how the fact that he was married with two kids didn’t make it into the account the OP quoted. I guess that would have made it harder for the article writer to paint him as a sad sack who is more to be pitied than censured.

A man is correct.
