@ddmeightball: Do NOT look in the tub! It will scare the crap out of you.

@pixelsnader: wow. just plain wow. are those home depot L brackets holding that bitch on?

Well, the problem here is that my daily commute is ~50 miles each way. A 16kWh battery should be doubled at least to be useful even with the gas support generator. This setup would get me 80% of my way to work and I'd still be using gas for 60% of my round trip commute assuming I have no where to charge it at work.

Why would this be a surprise to anyone? Apple uses Intel. Intel has 12 core (equivalent) CPUs. Doesn't it make sense that this was bound to happen eventually?

@RT100: Warning: The QR is to the paid version. (Perhaps it would be nice to give the QR for both the pay and free versions when both exist?)

50x the capacity, wooptie do. The way I understand it, unless we need 50x the capacity for a SINGLE movie, who cares? You ever seen movies come more than one on a disc? The episodic stuff maybe, but not likely. They still don't have truly awesome BD players, what makes them think people will upgrade to a new VB

I'll add this to my list of things to do. I'm a big fan of light painting even though I've never done it. This week's photo contest inspired me so I'm currently building as advanced a light painter as I can manage. So far it's proven to be quite expensive but with any luck the results will be cool.

@Stem_Sell: You don't eat meat?!? That's OK, I make lamb.

@Applerain: I recommend the "ScanLife" app it works perfectly with them.

@N7: I'm right there with you on that.

@onathanatos: In fairness I put no real research into that number. However, my mom upgraded to an iPhone 4 because "she likes fun new gadgets" and when I asked her about the signal strength she knew all about the problem and where not to touch. You really don't need nerd based news web sites for such information.

Watch, it'll come out with Android 1.5 and they will actually think they produced a good product. The reality however will be that they produced one with no apps.

I love the idea that 0.55% of iPhone 4 owners reported the antenna issue. Let's be realistic here for a moment shall we? Probably about 95 of the remaining percent knew it was a problem with ALL iPhone 4's and that reporting it, replacing it, or any similar activity would do little more than waste time and effort.

@Anonymoose: Yeah, I actually opened up my TI-85 and replaced the timing capacitor to overclock it. It's just over 3x faster, doesn't hurt battery life at all as far as I can tell, and comically made pac-man unplayable. (Too fast.)

@Mike: Seems like removing the dicking makes it considerably less fun.

Ok, and this is news because it surprises someone? I'd like to sell that guy a bridge. I've got these fancy beads.

@Ozzie, The Banana Man Fan: mmmpeanutbutter... I vote that! When it washes up on the shore only people with allergies need to run away in fear, everyone else can just bust out fluff or raspberry jam and go to town cleaning the beaches by making tasty sandwiches.

What meal at BK would provide only 800 calories. I assume that was a typo and you meant 2800 calories.
